Glad to see we weren’t the only L&D unit that was absurdly busy over Christmas! I don’t know what happened 38-40 weeks ago, but there have been a ton of new little ones in the last week!! Congrats on a smooth section, and I pray you have a healthy and fast recovery period!
People say a lot of things about scheduled births, but it is so much more peaceful. I had an emergency section in 2013 when I had hellp syndrome. I went under general anesthesia and was out for days. We suffered a traumatic loss in 2020 and then delivered a baby girl in 2021. We had a scheduled c section, but ended up delivering a week early because my bp was rising and we didn't want a repeat of 2013. It was a pretty peaceful experience and I had no issues. I was just so happy to see our daughter born. We are done and just enjoying raising our 2 kiddos. Hope everything went well and you are both ok!

For me , going from 2-3 was easier than I expected . Our 3rd was my second csec (19 months difference). I have an amazing support system and had amazing help in the beginning - like the most crucial time after csec. After I somewhat healed and felt like myself again things got so much better . Life with 3 kids is busy, and full of all sorts of emotions (if you get what I mean). But you’ll be ok :) my kids ages are 4,2, and 6.5 months I definitely love watching them play grow and communicate with each other . Makes me want to have a 4th 😁
You just reminded me of an old local joke. Boca Raton all natural is an epidural, no makeup. LOL. I hope everything has gone exceptionally well and you and baby are happy and healthy.
