Guys it's really not that complicated. He daydreams the entire thing. A perfect girl that's exactly everything he's always wanted shows up out of nowhere, injecting herself into his life. He spends this magical day with her, and they fall madly in love. The end of the music video when he sits up seeming startled isn't amnesia or magic... it's just him snapping out of it. Coming to the realization that none of it was real, and he's still alone. From someone like me who's too afraid to begin conversations with anyone (let alone someone I'm interested in) it's a scenario that is all too common. The whole song is him singing about the day he'll find that perfect girl after all.

I see people disappointed about this is a typical ballad and it didn't show his abilities. However, I think this suits him and it has a lot of meanings behind. I believe he is satisfied with this too. Also, singing is not just about high notes and strong vocals all the time. It's amazing how he can sing so well but it may not be necessary in here as the emotions are delivered well! Not a BANA(?) but congrats Sandeul! Fighting!

Man, his voice has changed some over the years. Normally, I pride myself at identifying all singers' voices just listening to them, but this time I struggled to identify that it's Sandeul here. I guess I'm so used to his 2011-2013 days. His execution is much different here than a standard B1A4 song.

i love his voice not because his techniques, not because of his superb beltings and control over his own voice. i love how he pours his emotions then voicing it out as melodies that reach out to the listeners. he's not just singing, he's telling stories and emotions using his voice. where else can you find a singer like him in kpop world?
Watched this first without captions and thought it was beautiful... then I turned on the captions and suddenly there were tears haha. This is a gorgeous, super meaningful song that captures something I think about from time to time and I'm sure many other people do too. I'm so proud and happy for Sandeul, he is seriously one of the best vocalists I've ever seen and that plus his ability to put so much emotion into his singing really shines here. he really deserves this solo release
I know why Seungmin decided to cover this song. It's so calming and pretty. Sandeul's vocals are strong, but not overbearing. It's actually perfect for this time of year. I am both Stay and BANA so this cover means double happiness for me.

tbh be honest, i really am not a big fan of korean ballads. even a lot of western r&b songs tend to bore me. but this mini album evokes a lot of sentimental feelings and it feels nostalgic. i think another reason why i love it so much is because he's not singing just because he's good at it (if that makes sense?). i've been watching most of his live stages and i noticed that there are moments where he smiles a bit and it looks like he's going back to a time where the song might have been relatable. he really enjoys singing and he has the emotional capacity to connect with the viewers and allow them to remember a moment in their lives where they might have needed a song like this. lol i was gonna say something else but i forgot oh well. but tldr; sandeul is a beautiful person with a beautiful soul and a beautiful voice who released a beautiful mini album ☺☺☺☺

it feels soooo good listening to songs like this. Kpop is bombarded with hiphop, edm, etc that i find myself looking for songs that will help me relax and be a little bit sentimental....
coming back to this more than 2 years later and this song still makes me cry. i love this so much. no matter how distracted i get with my other fave groups (day6 and bts), deullie remains undefeated as my ultimate. been this way for almost 7 years, and i doubt it'll change anytime soon.
My personal theory: Sandeul isn't happy because he's longing for something however, unlike other theories, he knows roughly what he is searching for (as expressed by "I've imagined you before") but is very lenient about what he accepts for this 'someone' because he has been waiting for so long. The smiley-face nail action he did came out of a habit that he picked up once, my guess is that it was something he wished this 'someone' would do since he already knew what he was looking for, and that this action would fit her character, which he imagined 'someone' doing in his thoughts, daydreams, etc. He's grown so used to longing for this something that he learns to live with it and ignores it completely, (as shown by the dull colors at the beginning and why he looks so sad, sometimes even broken, especially when drawing the smiley face) until someone comes along, because of her weird behavior around him, he gives in because he comes to the realization that this 'someone' finally came. They both share fairytale-like moments with each other and both fall for one another (which you see as she stares at him occasionally) and, as expressed by his clothes becoming brighter and his smiling, he becomes happy. When the bear-thing falls from next to the other, he wakes up, realizing that he still hasn't found what he is longing for and knowing that he probably never will, however, he smiles, he was able to see his wish come true, even if only temporarily in a dream.
This song is so good & nice to hear.I know its hard for him to win 1st since there's a lot of other popular artist having a comeback too.But lets try our best BANA! Sandeul fighting!!!

heard this song couple minutes ago as i was passing by my non-bana sister's room, thought it was sandeul but it was seungmin, and i legit forgot the title, so i searched for every sandeul song. gosh missed this song.

My personal theory:
Sandeul isn't happy because he's longing for something however, unlike other theories, he knows roughly what he is searching for (as expressed by "I've imagined you before") but is very lenient about what he accepts for this 'someone' because he has been waiting for so long.
The smiley-face nail action he did came out of a habit that he picked up once, my guess is that it was something he wished this 'someone' would do since he already knew what he was looking for, and that this action would fit her character, which he imagined 'someone' doing in his thoughts, daydreams, etc.
He's grown so used to longing for this something that he learns to live with it and ignores it completely, (as shown by the dull colors at the beginning and why he looks so sad, sometimes even broken, especially when drawing the smiley face) until someone comes along, because of her weird behavior around him, he gives in because he comes to the realization that this 'someone' finally came.
They both share fairytale-like moments with each other and both fall for one another (which you see as she stares at him occasionally) and, as expressed by his clothes becoming brighter and his smiling, he becomes happy.
When the bear-thing falls from next to the other, he wakes up, realizing that he still hasn't found what he is longing for and knowing that he probably never will, however, he smiles, he was able to see his wish come true, even if only temporarily in a dream.
