This was painful to watch. This dude had to carry her because why exactly? My seven year olds could have walked through that water. Then she starts cursing and just walking away, as the dude goes back for her bag. I hope she doubled back and thanked him!!!

It's unsafe for her to attempt to exit while it's floating in shallow water, it could flip over and pin someone. Smart to pull it where it's more stabilized before shifting the weight and helping someone out. She was terrified, her car destroyed etc good man for helping!

@@naokitenomi9327 instead of being glued to your phone, imagine assessing a situation, calling 911 and choosing to physically save your life instead of thinking a little computer/walkie-talkie must always be glued to your hand and will magically transport you. It’s as if people (especially women) have completely lost the ability to think on their own and consider consequences to their choices and actions without a quick scan of Instagram to see what an influencer might suggest! 🤦♂️

I'm glad she's safe now, I can't imagine being on my way to work to then be caught in a flood. I would've been just as scared as she was! And thank you for that kind man, it shows that there are truly kind people in this world. Unlike the idiots in this comment section.

Yes, I commend the man for helping her. But what person in their right mind would go through an ocean of water just sitting in the middle of the road? I've to Dallas quite a bit, enough to know all though the roads are confusing there are enough turns and roads to go around that. For every building there is a turn, just go around the water people!!

First of all I want to say this is devastating the way Texas is getting hit hard with rain it's just horrible I mean the world is just so messed up anymore. But I do want to mention watching this video the water's only about 3 ft deep at the most and they make it sound like it's a dramatic rescue. The water doesn't even have a bad current in it, so the lady could have got out walked in the water. Unless she was medically not able to or physically not able to that's different. But to me it wasn't a dramatic rescue because she could have got out of the SUV and just walked in the water up to where it was safe. But again it's horrible because Dallas is getting more rain later but like I said the whole world's messed up says it in the Bible
I don't think you understand how hard and scary it is to open a door while your car is floating side ways and is unsteady. She obviously haven't been in that situation either so cut her some slack.

The worst flood in Dallas history was in May of 1908, when the Trinity rose to 52.6 feet and where five people perished, 4000 more were displaced and thousands of cattle drowned in the disastrous overflow. Cities are going to flood worse than in the past becasue it's all cement, water has to flow off and out through clogged storm drains. It's not climate change, its over development and OVER POPULATION.
