In my opinion, Razer does have a compelling option here, but the weight between the HyperFlux and the Logitech G703 is almost identical(10 gram difference) and the G703 has a battery. I'm also used to the shape(not that I have tried the HyperFlux). And of course, I already have the G703, so I may be somewhat biased. Great video as always Zy, and keep up the hard work, I think you have already helped countless people that need help finding their optimal peripherals.
Very nice review as usual ! Love all the technical stuff and that you don't just stop at "it looks cool and feels great" kinda level. Recieved my Sennheiser PC 373D last saturday and your review was certainly a big help in that choice ! Keep up the good work :)
It pretty much works by putting a wire in a magnetic field so that the wire is going across the magnetic field. Induction occurs because the electrons in the wire experience a force (direction depends on the direction of the magnetic field) resulting in there being a current. The work done on the electrons causes there to be a voltage which results in a power supply. The main difficulty is from using a weak enough magnetic field to produce enough voltage because if it's too strong, the metallic components of the mouse might be affected, this can be countered by using more coils of wire which causes a higher voltage.
Nazo Hopefully he didn't send it back immediately after finishing the review. Doing a comparison seems like an obvious way to go with how similar they are.
the slight touching without clicking at the part where he test the switch somehow irritates me a little, not blaming him for sure, just didn't know I will be tick off by that. As usual, best mouse review on the whole youtube, please give this man 10x the subscriber he have right now.
Another difference about the MAMBA's in contrast with the Deathadders is that even though at the back they are the same the front where the clickers are competely different. The front area on the MAMBA are ALMOST like the ABYSSUS 2014 and ABYSSUS V2 so over all it has a hybrid Palm claw grip style.
I did notice the front seems to have less of a flare at the front than the Deathadder. I'm surprised Zy didn't pick up on this. I wonder if the grooves on the buttons are slightly closer together. If so this would be an improvement over the Deathadder shape.
I dont think that these "new" truely wireless mice are the best atm but with that said I am extremely excited to see how this tech will improve in the future.
I'd love to own this mouse, but that price tag is far too high for the combo. Plus I love my QCK+ pad too much atm to think about exploring other options...
Pablo González Hermosilla Saying that the sensor is shitty already proves that your point is stupid. And the fact that it has no battery is kind of the point of this mouse because this is why it can stay lightweight and keep up with professional grade mice. Just look at other wireless mice, they are all heavy so they aren't great for professional use.
I'm late, but now owning both pads and mice (g903 and Mamba Flux and their pads), no, Razer is better. But keyboard and mouse preference is a very personal choice.
Nice review! Looks like a very nice mouse set up. However the cost factor and the lack of being able to use the mouse without the pad isn’t going to appeal to most. I do like what they have done to the mamba and this technology is pretty cool, but having a corded tournament edition with those wonderful RGB lights, found on previous models along with having the much better sensor and switches would have been a winner all day long. $250 is way out of control for a mouse no matter how cool the tech is, plus most of the people who by the product are younger and don’t have such funds for a mouse, are you listening Razer?
You actually can. If I remember correctly, the USB cable for the Firefly Hyperflux mat is detachable and can be connected to the Mamba, turning it into a wired mouse.
For those who are aware of the issues with the Mamba Chroma and Tournament Edition, the Mamba HyperFlux changed to an optical sensor, so everything he says good about the sensor on this mouse DOES NOT apply to the older Chroma and Tournament Edition. Given his poor review of the Tournament Edition, I'm slightly disappointed that he didn't mention the fact that the sensor on this mouse changed. I wish he was more clear about this.
I actually love that kind of tech, been thinking about getting the Logitech Powerplay for quite a long time now. It's expensive, sure, but that is actually not what keeps me from pulling the trigger. It might sound childish with all the kinds of radiation around us everyday anyway, but so far I am not completely comfortable with the thought of placing my hand on a mousepad that will keep radiating energy for hours at a time (even more so with the Razer iteration, since that one actually creates such a "thick" charging field) :D Well, perhaps I'll get past that eventually - or some articles / videos pop up that address this. I find it strange that the manufacturers do not inform about this more prominently.
I got this a few weeks back and it's definitely going to be my new #1. It feels like with this product we are finally seeing wireless mice start to overtake wired ones. Now they just need to get more affordable.
Really cool tech. Is Razer going to sell replacement pads to go on top when this one wears out. Probably thinking to far ahead but if this where we are going the with wireless mouse the pads have to be swappable when worn.
I kinda hope they make a normal wired version of this mamba, since the sides are flatter and I hate sides on my deathadder. I'll probably still get the rival 600 for the 3 side buttons though. I wish more mice would include tilt scroll and 3 side buttons
Just curious, but what's the point for companies to send products just for a review and then have them returned to them? They're not going to repack and resell them. Are they?
Is it possible to click the side buttons by squeezing the shell? Took me a couple of days (and a lot of deaths while panic aiming) to realise the G703 sucks in this regard.
Hey Zy, just wanted to ask, how do you use the Razer Hypershift? How do you physically activate it? Do you have to press a key on the keyboard or something? Because in your review you said you can't allocate one of the buttons for the Hypershift, and I am very curious about it as it is very appealing :) Keep up the good work!!!
I wish they would start selling a new firefly that doesn't have a light up Razer Logo and changeable surfaces. Basically the Hyperflux without the charging.
I Just got the New Razer Mamba wireless and I was wondering why the Razer lance head wireless dpi goes up by 1 and the mamba goes up by 50 with the same sensor? I was also wondering why there is extra space before right and left click activation?
I have a Naga Epic. The only thing i don't like of this mouse is the software, mostly (not only but it's the only thing i'll tell you now) because of the profiles switching. Switching profils takes few seconds and this very annoying. Logitech mice switch instantly. Does this Mamba performs better when switching profiles?
Just picked up a mamba wireless a couple of days ago. (Same frame as this hyperflux) It had a loose right click button exactly like this hyperflux has a loose left click button. Took it back for an exchange today and the new one exhibits exactly the same problem. I was really hoping that my first model was a fluke defect, but it looks like all the conjecture about razers QC may really be true.
Hey I'm thinking about buying a new mouse . I now have a roccat lua. My hand I very small so I want a tiny mouse. I play Fortnite and cs:go mostly. Any mouse suggestions??
Can you use bigger mose pad from logitech and use this mouse on it, while having razer mouse pad sitting on a side acting like a signal station and charge station ?
Hello Zy,I'm a young gamer and I am trying to find a good mouse for me i have hand size similar to yours 17 by 9 and i play mostly csgo, overwatch, pubg. And i fingertip the mouse what are your recomandatiions?
Anyone know a mouse with a similar shape to the mamba but cheaper? I tried a mamba and deathadder at best buy and the mamba was very comfy but it's too expensive for me.
skooly m8, not trying to argue but how the heck is looking through Amazon reviews gonna help me find a similarly shaped mouse. That would take fucking ages.
Hey Zy, could you do a solo review of the new HyperX Fury S Pro? It's really popular with pros and I can't seem to find an RJN quality review about it.
Does the rubber on the sides of this mouse come off like the deathadder? I've had 3 deathadders and either clicks got stuck or the rubber came off on the sides (if not both).
Hello!I watched a few of you videos about what mouse to buy.But i still don’t know because I saw many positive comments for the g403.I really don’t know what to choose between rival 310,600,zowie,logitec g403 and maybe razer deathadder.Could you please help me.Thanks
@rocketjumpninja this mouse is too short for me to palm grip, my hands are 20.3 by 11cm do you think the Model D being 3.3mm longer would fit my hand? thanks!
Hey can you help me find the correct mouse? i play palm, used the deathader elite for just under 2 years and noticed its to big for a while so i went and bought a fk2 and ec2-a but i tried both but they just dont do it. Any suggestions?
@RJN is the shape close to the EC2-A? Because currently I'm using ec2-a and I love the shape but hate the wires. If it's shape is equal to or even close to the EC2-A I will buy it.
Hello, can you help me choose my mouse?? 1. Hand length of 18.5cm and width of 10.5cm 2. Palmgrip 3. Mostly FPS 4. I'm not playing competitive but would like to improve significantly. 5. Less than $100CAD. I am not too concerned with this one because I can get them second hand.
Hey Zy! I'm searching for the best mouse for myself, but my handsize is a bit awkward, 17 cm length and 10cm width. I personally would like to claw as i first used a razer naga from 2012, which just forced me into claw grip, so I'm used to that. However I got a new mouse because the naga was having some issues. Also the clicks were fading. This new mouse was the g502 and suddenly I needed to palm grip, otherwise my hand felt uncomfortable. I really would like to find "my" mouse. Could you help me? I watched a bunch of reviews and so far the g302 and the rival 600 are good. But they still have that 2:1 ratio which doesn't really match with my shorf fingers. Tnx if you read all of this sorry for the long comment....
If you’re gonna get a razer mamba, i’d recommend the razer mamba tournament edition. If you’re going for wireless i recommend the razer mamba wireless, the hyperflux I wouldn’t recommend it since u need the mouse pad to power it.
Razer deathadder 2013/ logitech g102/logitech g302/ss rival 100 ... wich one for league of legends ? my hands are normal size ( like yours ) and i use palm/fingertip .. please what do u recommand ?
i have hand size of length 17.5 cm and width 10.5 cm my unusually wide hands make it difficult to get a mouse of suitable shape can anyone recommend a mouse for this hand size? i use palm grip and mainly play FPS games so i need a lightweight mouse thanks in advance
How lightweight? And also its quite unlikely to find a mouse for both large hands and light-weight. If you ignore the weight Taipan would be quite a good choice, but it is 95 grams.
I have 20cm by 10cm hands and I don’t know if I should get the G403 or G pro I’m a claw grip player, I’m worried about the shape of the mice since I play FPS games, should I get smaller? Or are those mice a good size? Any suggestions? Plz
What mouse should i get for gaming. I mainly play fortnite, CSGO, Rust and other games like that. I was looking at getting the logitech G703 wireless or the steelseries rival 600 . I have the Logitec g502 atm but the middle scroll wheel broke . Any suggestions on what mouse i should get next. Thanks :)
Hi Zy, great review as always. Quick question: what would you recommend for somebody that has and loves a Logitech G900 mouse at the moment? I've had a G900 for a while now, and while it's been fantastic, I know it's only a matter of time until it wears out. I could just get another one (or the G903), but I'm always looking to try something new. That mouse is far and away the most comfortable I've come across so far, using a claw/palm hybrid grip. I tried the G703 for a short while, but found it uncomfortable on my palm. Any suggestions for something to try out next? Thanks again for the exceptional content!
Size matters. My perfect mouse was almost invented, i.e. slightly flattened DA Elite+wireless, but that mousepad can't do it for me after using a 3' wide mousemat.
When he tests the buttons... Its like asmr. It almost put me to sleep 😂
Cryoshade hahaha
He has an asmr channel too
Yes, But I think hes discontinued it.
That shit make me weak. 🤤
Great quality as always! Thank you for the mice reviews
Zy my name is Hi

Finally the review every competitive gamer has been waiting for
Most reliable mouse reviews! Would love a corsair dark core review!
Very nice review as usual ! Love all the technical stuff and that you don't just stop at "it looks cool and feels great" kinda level.

The technology they put into this mouse seems to be amazing so props to Razer for that but the mousepad size is a total deal breaker for me
wuut, I subscribed to this channel years ago, and this is the first video to appear in my feed for a looooong time. Ok youtube.
The only problem of the pad is too small for low sens player......
yue yat chan learn to swipe more
Freezy yea it does
Redemz y'all going pro? It takes like a millisecond longer. Fucking nerds
Freezy cuz
Redemz be mad
now i watch your vids for fun i just love ur vids dude keep it up
Aside from the review, your aim is beast mate.
Please do a comparison video between the G703+Powerplay and Razer Mamba Hyperflux if you get the chance.
he had to send it back so i doubt that'll happen
Nazo Hopefully he didn't send it back immediately after finishing the review. Doing a comparison seems like an obvious way to go with how similar they are.
Now they need to update the Mamba TE with a 3389 and were set.
Mamba Elite and Wireless to the rescue
the slight touching without clicking at the part where he test the switch somehow irritates me a little, not blaming him for sure, just didn't know I will be tick off by that. As usual, best mouse review on the whole youtube, please give this man 10x the subscriber he have right now.
That was me showing how the left mouse button was loose. It is pretty annoying. Hopefully most copies don't have that issue. Thanks!
ohhhhh... didn't know it was meant for that. Thx for the extra info!

What did you think I meant by flatter design? It's all around.
I dont think that these "new" truely wireless mice are the best atm but with that said I am extremely excited to see how this tech will improve in the future.
Those were some sick ass shots rjn. Cool tech but I'm disappointed the mouse looks too big for my hands :(
I feel like I’m an elder for some reason ,really good mouse and pad , great Video !!
I just received my Mamba Hyperflux today. Its perfect for my 22 cm hand.
I'd love to own this mouse, but that price tag is far too high for the combo. Plus I love my QCK+ pad too much atm to think about exploring other options...
Hudsyn shitty sensor, no battery. Better go get the g703 with powerplay if you want something worth your money.
Pablo González Hermosilla I'm not sure just saying I don't think the sensor is bad if you look at it
IT ISNT A SHITTY SENSOR, IT'S A 3360 NOT THE OLD LASER SENSOR
Just put you pad on top of the hyperflux pad, and boom, you're set
Pablo González Hermosilla Saying that the sensor is shitty already proves that your point is stupid. And the fact that it has no battery is kind of the point of this mouse because this is why it can stay lightweight and keep up with professional grade mice. Just look at other wireless mice, they are all heavy so they aren't great for professional use.
I would get this if the mouse pad was bigger...
chinaboyhere shut the fuck up, you ain’t a pro player so shut your stupid ass mouth
Adrian Miranda jeez, u don’t need to be a pro to want a large mousepad.
I'm late, but now owning both pads and mice (g903 and Mamba Flux and their pads), no, Razer is better. But keyboard and mouse preference is a very personal choice.
Interesting that they made you it back.
the g403 wireless only weights 107g, hope they'll go without a battery on that and make a proper big pad!
HOLY SHIT finally razer do side scrolling - welcome to 5 years ago
Nice review! Looks like a very nice mouse set up. However the cost factor and the lack of being able to use the mouse without the pad isn’t going to appeal to most. Love your reviews, but you know Razer does make a stand-alone version of the Mamba right? It’s been out for quite awhile.
Bad sensor.
Jeez 97 grams!? I switched to the G703 and I love the wireless feature and also how light it is
I have the same issue with the loose left mouse button on my mamba wireless. The button has like half a centimeter of sidetravel
Just curious, but what's the point for companies to send products just for a review and then have them returned to them? They're not going to repack and resell them. Are they?

I bought the lance head and it’s incredible
hello, i know its kinda random, but is the logitech g pro same as the g203 or g102? btw great content, really in depth reviews!
Hmm, is this mouse exactly the same as the original mamba (except for the battery) or is it improved?
Very cool tech, shame about the tiny pad though.
I have a Naga Epic. The only thing i don't like of this mouse is the software, mostly (not only but it's the only thing i'll tell you now) because of the profiles switching. I hope they make a pad large enough for a keyboard and mouse. That way I could use a smaller keyboard to make the the playable area bigger.
Jonathan Greene you must really be a try hard talking about xl Pads
imagine if razer actually made a mouse that fits perfectly Zy's hand and add all the pros zy mentionned
Any negative health effects of this mouse and mousepad?
Can you do a Top 10 mousepad review?
Hey I'm thinking about buying a new mouse . I now have a roccat lua. My hand I very small so I want a tiny mouse. I play Fortnite and cs:go mostly. Any mouse suggestions??
Can you use bigger mose pad from logitech and use this mouse on it, while having razer mouse pad sitting on a side acting like a signal station and charge station ?
just want to add, I have logitech G900 and G403 wireless, and NO they are not as conmortable as Razer Mamba/Deathadder, at least for me
What about FPS game, when you take mouse up and poting it down ? Its same problems like previous mamba ?
Hello Zy,I'm a young gamer and I am trying to find a good mouse for me i have hand size similar to yours 17 by 9 and i play mostly csgo, overwatch, pubg. And i fingertip the mouse what are your recomandatiions?
Anyone know a mouse with a similar shape to the mamba but cheaper? I tried a mamba and deathadder at best buy and the mamba was very comfy but it's too expensive for me.
HyperX Pulsfire maybe could suit you.. and its ~50€
I would just go through and look through rocketjumpninjas vids and find ones that are similar. I know there are a few but I can't remember the names.
skooly how on earth does that help me at all, no offense.
skooly m8, not trying to argue but how the heck is looking through Amazon reviews gonna help me find a similarly shaped mouse. That would take fucking ages.
I hear the G403 is kinda similar, you could check that one out. It's usually on display at best buy as well.
Hey Zy, could you do a solo review of the new HyperX Fury S Pro? It's really popular with pros and I can't seem to find an RJN quality review about it.
Can you plz make a arctis pro review? I really think about buying it and I would like to hear your opinions on it
Does the rubber on the sides of this mouse come off like the deathadder? I've had 3 deathadders and either clicks got stuck or the rubber came off on the sides (if not both).
What is the name of the Razer software he uses in this video?
Is there a sniper button at the front? I can’t tell
That's a profile button.
Before you send the mamba back can you use it in a comparison between it and the Logitech powerplay?
I suppose the Mamba would be a better option for me than the Deathadder since my hand is about 20 x 11 cm ? Or would you suggest another mouse?
What's a good mouse that's fully white and ambidextrous that is not too large?
NEED HELP
Does the mamba (not hyperflux) wireless have side-scroll too?
WERE GONNA REACH THE FLOATING MOUSE SOMEDAY
Hello!I watched a few of you videos about what mouse to buy.But i still don’t know because I saw many positive comments for the g403.I really don’t know what to choose between rival 310,600,zowie,logitec g403 and maybe razer deathadder.Could you please help me.Thanks
@rocketjumpninja this mouse is too short for me to palm grip, my hands are 20.3 by 11cm do you think the Model D being 3.3mm longer would fit my hand? thanks!
great video
Can you make a review of the Klim Aim gaming mouse ? cheap but good mouse apparently
Hey can you help me find the correct mouse? i play palm, used the deathader elite for just under 2 years and noticed its to big for a while so i went and bought a fk2 and ec2-a but i tried both but they just dont do it. Any suggestions?
m3 being hard to press kills it for me. My index finger is strained from stiff m3 buttons
@RJN is the shape close to the EC2-A? Because currently I'm using ec2-a and I love the shape but hate the wires. If it's shape is equal to or even close to the EC2-A I will buy it.
Ahsin Asif get the new g305, best sensor, cheap and it's basically a wireless gpro
EC2-A has a similar shape to the Deathadder but is smaller. This mouse is the same size as the Deathadder so will be a touch bigger than the EC2-A
*asks for a mouse similar to the ec2-a
this guy comes and fucking recommends a fingertip mouse which has anything but relation with the ec2-a's shape
it doesnt have that much of a similar shape but the shape is destined to the same as the ec2-a, mainly palm and claw grip secondary
Hello, can you help me choose my mouse??
1. Hand length of 18.5cm and width of 10.5cm
2. Palmgrip
3. Mostly FPS
Tnx if you read all of this sorry for the long comment....
if you use the mouse pad cable with the mouse do you have to use the mouse pad?
as a normal pad yes but with RGB no
The only reliable mouse channel on the UA-cam and razer took the mouse back.. that's rude
I love the shape and feel of Razer mice but after 3 quickly failed mice, including their own firmware bricking one I will never go back to them.
I dont know if its a bug or not but the find a mouse on your site does not recommend the fk2 in any of the tags...
4 tags do.
Rocket Jump Ninja I just visited it and I showed it in non of them... maybe it has something to do with my pc though
can u review the logitech g513? theres two switches tactile and linear and maybe you review them i wanna know ur opinions on them
Hey Zy, great work as always. Would you be able to review the new corsair dark core se please? Thanks Zy!
If you’re gonna get a razer mamba, i’d recommend the razer mamba tournament edition. If you’re going for wireless i recommend the razer mamba wireless, the hyperflux I wouldn’t recommend it since u need the mouse pad to power it.
i bought quake champs bc i always see u playing it but when i queue it seems the game is dead... :(
the razer mamba fits perfectly in my hand
Razer deathadder 2013/ logitech g102/logitech g302/ss rival 100 ... wich one for league of legends ? my hands are normal size ( like yours ) and i use palm/fingertip .. please what do u recommand ?
_Does it have _*_DPI slowing_*_ button like Basilisk?_
Hey RJN, when are you gonna release respect on its own. The song is sick. I want to listen to it without doom gameplay in the background.
I haven't played Quake Champions in a while, did they buff the railgun?
Dind't the mat have RGB back at CES?
It does have RGB...
i have hand size of length 17.5 cm and width 10.5 cm
my unusually wide hands make it difficult to get a mouse of suitable shape
can anyone recommend a mouse for this hand size?
i use palm grip and mainly play FPS games so i need a lightweight mouse
thanks in advance
How lightweight? And also its quite unlikely to find a mouse for both large hands and light-weight. If you ignore the weight Taipan would be quite a good choice, but it is 95 grams.
they didnt make it larger because of packaging and shipping limitations for sure
I have 20cm by 10cm hands and I don’t know if I should get the G403 or G pro I’m a claw grip player, I’m worried about the shape of the mice since I play FPS games, should I get smaller? Or are those mice a good size? Any suggestions? Plz

I have the Logitec g502 atm but the middle scroll wheel broke . Any suggestions on what mouse i should get next. Thanks :)
Are the 310 and mamba hiperflux the same size ?
who is better this mouse or logitech g903 lightspeed?
Hi Zy, great review as always. Quick question: what would you recommend for somebody that has and loves a Logitech G900 mouse at the moment? I've had a G900 for a while now, and while it's been fantastic, I know it's only a matter of time until it wears out. I could just get another one (or the G903), but I'm always looking to try something new. That mouse is far and away the most comfortable I've come across so far, using a claw/palm hybrid grip. I tried the G703 for a short while, but found it uncomfortable on my palm. Any suggestions for something to try out next?
Thanks again for the exceptional content!
great vid bro
The price alone has just put me off! I thought my Swiftpoint Z was expensive! This is wayyyyyyy too much!
Size matters.
My perfect mouse was almost invented, i.e. slightly flattened DA Elite+wireless, but that mousepad can't do it for me after using a 3' wide mousemat.
So the only one question is, when it will start doubleclicking?
Its not a logitech
Is the Hyperflex bigger than the Mamba wireless?
