As a f2p player whose made it to legendary arena, here are some f2p tips
1. Dont grind ladder all the time. Sometimes playing events and challeneges to grind wild cards and gold
2. Use the same deck. You cant be a meta slave in f2p
3. Choose level ups wisely. Randomly leveling up clone is a waste
4. Build the right deck. Play cards that are always decent
5. Patience is the most important part. Unless youre ludicrously skilled, itll take you around 6 months to get to legendary, so simply having the patience matters most

Yeah constantly changing decks is no bueno. Stick to one deck and level it up all the way, else you're doomed.
I'm a f2p player too, since 2016, twice in legendary arena (once when it was arena 10 and once when it was 13, currently about a thousand trophies away from legendary arena again), and I 100% agree with these tips.
One more thing I'd like to add is take as much advantage from the events as you can. You can get some really helpful stuff (book of cards, Evo shards, etc.) from there

it took me 2.5 months to reach 6500, so kudos to you for getting 5000 under 24hrs because that's insane. I mainly ran a Giant Skeleton/goblin barrel/witch combo for the push. Luckily, the time I started this, supercell gave out free evolutions so getting the evolved knight was the number 1 carry.

@@BlatantOrion its tough cuz this game has become pay2win me personally have been playing for 5 years at 9000 by just like making ur own deck that u will stick to then keep grinding to upgrade it thats it at early trophies its better if u have other overleveled cards to play with but focus on ur main deck

i have a challenge idea; basically put all of your past challenges into a wheel and every time you pass an arene you have to spin it. For E.g you can spin like "high damage troops only" or "low health troops only" then you would have to do that challenge until you get to the next arene. this challenge would prob be insane cuz of the difficulty.

I’m a free to play who’s been stuck in arena 14 for literal years 🙏🏾
At that point that just sounds like a skill issue, I managed to get past arena 14 on a new account in only a few months while not even playing that often.
Well it’s harder when you’re constantly getting hard counted by legendary cards you don’t have and all your cards are under leveled but I also don’t play often so 🤷🏽♂️

Tbh I spend almost a month to get to 6000 trophies as F2P and it was kinda hard but at the end I had fun playing with my friends and got excited everytime i got smth good espacelly my first evo (now i have 3 evo and my deck is mostly lv 11 and 12 and Im still F2P although I still enjoy playing for fun and I dont plan to spend any money in the future. I’m 7200 trophies F2P with level 15 mega knight , Lvl14 Pekka , Lvl 14 Knight and 3 evos. Started in 2022 as well.

I stopped playing Clash Royale around the time I wanna say 2019 or something. I think around the time when they released Royal ghost or magic archer can’t remember. but man, this game has changed so much. I got back into recently at the start of this year, and getting matched with people with evos and level 14/15 cards and champions is absolutely diabolical
Tips for f2p players (I’m a f2p player myself): for getting lvl 15 cards I at least get to league 6 every ranked season as the I’ll get a lvl 15 card every 2 seasons. I always play the events for season tokens for evo shards, books and all that stuff plus it also increases levels of your deck and I play every event that has trade tokens so I can trade and get cards quicker to get better levels.

everyone here talking about how he “feels how f2p players feel” but the reason he’s so underleveled is because its a speedrun. a good f2p player will grind for some season tokens, make value of free events such as the free evo or free evo goblin mortar, and get his lucky drops consistently for some wild cards. f2p dont just go in arena 10 with severely underleveled cards

F2P player here. I think you made this way harder (and much more frustrating) for yourself by trying to get 6k trophies in one go. When you keep playing over the days, the daily rewards aren't exactly bad, they start adding up to give you quite a bit of resources, including wild cards, gems and stuff.

For example: being free to play bring more fun to the game and more determination and satisfaction when you won a game. Also, it isn’t that competitive and you feel pleasure to play this game. On the other hand, progressing in Clash Royale without money is a hard challenge and requires lots of positive energy and patience.
On the other side, being pay to win bring much progress in a shorter time and more chances to finish the game. Most of this players are UA-camrs and have money from their job. Some disadvantages can be that pay to win players cause others to rage or feel bad. Also when you progress so fast, you won’t feel the pleasure to play the game.
