@@dazeng4633 wouldn’t u want out if u had to make it to the UCL Final without any backing him. Even the season he left, they spent so much on N’dombele and neglected other key areas
Come on Simon, Levy is to blame. He's been in charge for 22 years and counting, appointing and then sacking all the managers you're trying to blame, with no plan and no clue. How can it be the manager's fault, when we've had a total of 17 in the past 23 years?! Yes, the players aren't up to scratch, but who's chosen most of the current squad, and why do we have around £200m-worth of players out on loan that no one wants? It's because of Levy, who always thinks he knows best, and ignores good advice he doesn't like (e.g. don't hire Paratici). By all means sack Mourinho just before a cup final, with no plan, leading to 72 days' search for a replacement, hiring poor old Nuno at the end of it, as 7th choice. Well done Daniel! Starve Poch of a rebuild and sack him instead of backing him? Marvellous! And of course don't even think of bringing him back when you have the chance, either, that would be far too sensible. Conte wasn't the right fit for Spurs, a 'win now' manager who is used to having a decent squad to work with from the get-go. Bad choice Daniel, a pathetic attempt to buy yourself out of trouble with the fans, aided and abetted by that crook Paratici. All the managers had their faults and made mistakes, they're only human, but none of them caused this situation. Now we're back in pre-Nuno mode, 60 days and counting since Conte sacked himself, working our way through a list of managers who won't come to us because of Levy. Who else is to blame for that, Simon? And now the toxic teletubby has run out of road. A supporter for 60 years, I really can't see where we go from here. Poch, on the other hand, knows exactly where he's going and good for him.
How has this woman just come on defending Levy and then proceeded to explain everything that Levy has done wrong. Levy is responsible for the scouting and responsible for not getting Poch - WAKE UP!
Its not just this season though. We appear more to balance the cheque book than winning things e.g. Sacking Jose before the final, not backing Poch when getting to CL final. This isn't anger on the back of 1 season. This is years of lacking and Levy has to take that blame entirely
@@jackhudson2237 I think the problem for any Spurs manager is that he has to find players in Levys' price range, rather than what will take the club forward.
Levy has actually been pretty poor at picking managers right from the start of his reign. To blame Conte is nuts. Does he also blame Poch, Redknapp, Jol?
Instead of buying one or two marquee signings every season to improve the first team, levy buys multiple average players who barely improve the squad. He has never and will never pay the big money for rueben Diaz and instead will give Jose joe rodon, or pay sporting Lisbon’s asking price for Bruno and instead go for the cheaper option of lo celso. Liverpool weren’t flying when they paid Southampton’s asking price for vvd and within a few seasons they’ve won the lot. People wil say we can’t shop in the same market as the other big six teams but maybe because we have neglected our squad for the past 8 seasons and our scouting team are possibly the worst in the prem
Exactly. Earlier Simon was saying Tottenham need a Klopp type of manager, who can do well on a tight budget, etc. But Tottenham had one, Poch, but like you said, Levy didn't back him. If Josef Stalin owned a football club, Simon would be defending him too. It's just ridiculous.
Jose and Conte, the biggest managers in European football who have won almost everything in Europe and apparently they're both in the wrong. Simon believes Levy has been totally honest and told these managers that he will give them everything they want for them both to come out and openly criticise the way the clubs run. Grow up Simon.
Spurs were told to delay conte sacking and keep hold until the end of the season. Levy takes no notice of what people say and what has that done? Took the club down from 4th to 8th.
Can Simon answer why unemployed managers are looking at our footballing operation and walking away because they are unconvinced by the structure? Can he explain how this isn’t Levy and the boards fault?
He loves and supports all club owners equally, because he once owned Crystal Palace, until he went bankrupt, so he's always on a club owner or chairman's side, no matter what.
Simon sounding like a complete drip here.. keeps going back to conte, what about the other 15 or 16 managers he's failed. Didn't back poch when he was this close, didn't sign a player for 3 windows. Sacked jose a week before a final, to save money incase he sacked him! Sacked harry redknapp just because he was linked with England .. ego! The bloke is a brilliant businessman but micro manages every aspect of the club including the football side .. and he's failed at every turn! Levy Out!
It's weird... Simon thinks that if he starts each sentence with "Now I'm not Daniel's biggest fan..." or "Now Daniel and I have had our differences..." that we won't notice that EVERY time he's talking about Spurs Simon will defend Levy in whatever the argument is.
Looking an even worse decision to not swallow his pride and just go back for pochetinno. It just made so much sense and would of taken the pressure off levy
They are the players you pay over market value for, like Man city had to at first and Newcastle have to now. Levy just doesn't have it in him to do this.
The tottemham job would be a fantastic job if levy wasn't chairman. The quality of the squad sint hood enough.we were also lied to by levy when he said hugh money would go into squad from the new stadium all lies ...most of our recruitment last summer were loan deals
Simon talks smart, and is an intelligent man, but his defence of every ownership, blindly, makes him look a fool. I get that for him, attacking an owner would admit his own shortcomings in that department but maybe he should try and be a bit more impartial.
There was nothing wrong with the way Mike Ashley ran Newcastle, the fans didn't like it, 'cos Ashley didn't want to spend money, he wanted to balance the books. Ashley had no real ambition to win things at Newcastle, because that would require the spending of large amounts of money, and hoping it pays off.
Ed Woodward got the heat for the failure of Man Utd over the last decade as the main constant when they had multiple managers Surely the same premise should apply to Daniel levy, he’s overseeing everything at spurs despite the chop and changing of managers 🤷♂️
Yes Levy must take the blame for a lot of it, I remember he was falling over himself to give Dele new contracts again and again, while an absolute baller in Eriksen wasn't getting any of it! We let Van Der Vaart leave and replaced him with the beyond useless Clint Dempsey. Replaced Berbatov with Bent and wasted 90% of the Bale money on complete dross! We have two consistent players in our ranks Kane and Bentancur, the rest can all leave and yes that includes Sonny.........Please don't get me started on "the wall" Hojberg who gets done by every single team we play against and is technically abysmal. PS. Not sure what's been happening with certain players performances in recent weeks as I gave up watching the garbage.
Simon talks so much BS! Big words can't hide Levy's failure over the years and he has turned spurs into a laughing stock. Simon ran palace, known as a yoyo team while he was aspiring to mediocrity but that is not enough for spurs fans, we are looking to be a big team and never could work out why we always seemed to fall short, Levy sacked Conte because he exposed the enic setup
“But I don’t think Daniel has” And then proceeds on with a 5 minute point based on what he THINKS two men discussed behind closed doors. Well I believe Konte was promised stuff. Hence why he went there. So should I now argue with you with literally no basis or proof to the contrary?
Who sacks them? Why sack Poch? Jose?(!), Conte*. Conte is a winner. Why he doesn't work is when he isn't given what he wants. His words were the most poignant of all. Some managers know how to deal with superstars and not B teams. When faced with mediocrity some like Conte hit the wall and can go no further. Conte would have done wonders at United the past summer. He got to buy $250M in players. That whole team save Son and Kane should be wiped off. Start that by selling Kane immediately. Close it for $100M and GET GOING. Oh what's this? You have no manager to provide a vision and identity? After the Glazers, Levy will get the 'worst owner' accolade. EVERYONE I know agrees with Conte's words. Especially the Spurs fan. So Simon, do us a favor already.
the hardest thing with the spurs job is that you have had 6 or 7 transfer windows of Mourinho & Conte signings which arent very attacking, look at how many poor defenders, defensive midfielders and hard working wing backs they have for the 3 - 4 -3 style . it will take a lot of unpicking
100% agree with Simon.. Conte pulled a Ronaldo with that outburst but saying I don't think Conte could adjust to the Spurs culture and that's on Levy.. Levy needs to clean shop and create a culture for managers to succeed.
“Do I think Levy can do better? Of course I do” then proceeds to put majority blame of this dreadful season on Conte. If Conte wasn’t a good fit for the club, then that is Levy’s fault. Ultimately the reason we are getting denied by managers now is because they have doubt Levy will give them what they need to be successful. They don’t want to be villainized by pundits like you. I mean seriously, how can you look at Levy giving Conte millions to do an impossible job and then criticize him for taking the job?😂
I agree that the players have gotten a pass, but I don't understand his Conte stance. Conte left and had them in 4th, if anything he should be applauded despite how you may feel about his tactics. Blame him for what? overachieving? lol
I think there are certain questions that need to be asked 1: Do Spurs spend enough money? A: Yes, they have spent plenty. Problem has been recruitment. 2: Will a new owner solve the problems? A: Potentially but it wouldn't be a quick fix. If a new owner comes in it will more than likely take many years of good decisions before you realistically compete for trophies regularly. 3: How much blame needs to be put on players? A: Huge amount of blame. These are good players no doubt but the performances have been abysmal. Attitude has been a massive problem. 4: Are the fans expectations unrealustic? A: 100% yes and I blame the media for that. They have lied to you by classing you as part of the "Big 6". You haven't won enough trophies in your recent history (Last 20 Years) to be in the same category as City, Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. 5: Can you compete with the big teams in the transfer market? A: Not properly no. If elite players have a choice between Spurs and Utd for example they will choise Utd everytime as they have a much higher profile than spurs do.
In the last 25 seasons, Spurs have had 13 full-time managers. Levy has been in post for 22 of those seasons. He is also the highest paid guy at that position. Put two and two together.
Right the problem with spurs is recruitment yes attacks have been great but the defence has not been good at all they don't have premier league defenders
Hiring nuno over ten hag, sacking Mourinho before a cup final, and then not backing conte after he pulled top 4 out of magic is all on Levy.
Normally I agree with what simon has to say but fans always blame the manager first and after 3-4 managers get sacked you look above them

It’s cos they’re secretly married to each other 😂
Everyone’s forgetting that Conte rejected the Tottenham job a few months before becoming head coach. Levy can’t be getting backed by the media after his management off the field. He let Poch starve for signings for why? What was the plan behind that. What was the plan behind Nuno Santo after Mourinho. What did he say to Conte to change his minds. What was the plan for Conte? What was he presenting to Arne and Nagelsmann?
Disagree, Poch wanted out as soon as he got to C League final. He said as much. What would be the point in wasting money on him?
@@dazeng4633 wouldn’t u want out if u had to make it to the UCL Final without any backing him. Even the season he left, they spent so much on N’dombele and neglected other key areas
Simon is actually so clueless, how can the guy still defend Levy 😂
Levy is the problem at Spurs. He is the downfall of club
5:39 touched a nerve
Listening to Simon Jordan talk about how to run a football club is like asking liz Truss how to be a great prime minister. 😂🤣😂
I mean it's easy, just do the OPPOSITE of what they both did!
I'll say it again, Antonio Conte is living rent free in Simon Jordan's head.
Its not just this season though. We appear more to balance the cheque book than winning things e.g. Sacking Jose before the final, not backing Poch when getting to CL final. This isn't anger on the back of 1 season. This is years of lacking and Levy has to take that blame entirely
Levy fired mourinho a week before the cup final. He’s hired and fired many managers, Simon will never address this
Spurs need to worry now. They need a manager, a good manager ASAP.
Doesn't mean anything when Levy is going to buy the players he wants and not what the manager wants.
@@jackhudson2237 I think the problem for any Spurs manager is that he has to find players in Levys' price range, rather than what will take the club forward.
Levy is the constant in all of this.
It’s a culture, the culture comes from the top! Tottenham has a small club culture and a world class stadium.

Levy has actually been pretty poor at picking managers right from the start of his reign. To blame Conte is nuts. Does he also blame Poch, Redknapp, Jol?
Levi and Jordan are clearly good friends
I hear Steve Bruce is available Spurs 😂😂😂
Simons defo bummed levy
Grow up
@@15harry1561 no
@@15harry1561look in the mirror, these things happen
The BIG mistake was not backing Poch and overhauling the squad.
He'll blame the players. It's always everyone's fault except the owner's fault in Simon's biased brain.
Jose qualified for the league cup final and was sacked before the game…. Explain that please
Simon is almost about to cry 😂😂😂😂
What is it with Simon Jordan and Daniel Levy? Does he owe Levy for something cos he ALWAYS supports Levy..
He loves and supports all club owners equally, because he once owned Crystal Palace, until he went bankrupt, so he's always on a club owner or chairman's side, no matter what.
@@Fractalchemystical did he once own Crystal Palace? Didn’t know that..🙄
Simon loves the taste of levys backside
“Levy is being let down by his scouting” who employed these scouts? Was it a headless chicken?
Spoiler🚨🚨it was Levy
Simon sounding like a complete drip here.. keeps going back to conte, what about the other 15 or 16 managers he's failed. Didn't back poch when he was this close, didn't sign a player for 3 windows. Sacked jose a week before a final, to save money incase he sacked him! Sacked harry redknapp just because he was linked with England .. ego! The bloke is a brilliant businessman but micro manages every aspect of the club including the football side .. and he's failed at every turn! Levy Out!
Conte is more than Simon will ever be, how dare he attempt to critique him 💀💀
It starts from the top...
The owners
Levy lied to Kane, lied to Conte probably
ENIC and Levy out
I note that Mourhinio is back on the trophy winning stage again. Yet at Spurs nothing. It's Levy who is the problem FFS.
Simon will go in and be honest on everyone except the owners. His hands are tied when it comes to them
It's weird... Simon thinks that if he starts each sentence with "Now I'm not Daniel's biggest fan..." or "Now Daniel and I have had our differences..." that we won't notice that EVERY time he's talking about Spurs Simon will defend Levy in whatever the argument is.
Gone through more mangers then I’ve had Sunday dinners. Nothing to do with levy thou. Quite embarrassing for the honest talking Simon jordan
Looking an even worse decision to not swallow his pride and just go back for pochetinno. It just made so much sense and would of taken the pressure off levy
Conte was spot on...
Simon is consumed by the courage of his convictions. To this day I will never understand getting rid of Mourinho a week before a cup final.
Levy being topped off once again by his loyal Simon Jordan.
“Topped off” 😂😂😂
I agree with Simon. The caller Kate was very logical too.
Literally the only person who agrees with Simon on this is Simon and Levy.
That's two people
If levy was levy’s boss, he’d of been fired years ago!
😂Levy is his own best friend and his own worst enemy.
Also, Conte, Mourinho are “win now” managers who need “win now” players. Who are these “win now” players that want to sign for Tottenham?
They are the players you pay over market value for, like Man city had to at first and Newcastle have to now. Levy just doesn't have it in him to do this.
The tottemham job would be a fantastic job if levy wasn't chairman. The quality of the squad sint hood enough.we were also lied to by levy when he said hugh money would go into squad from the new stadium all lies ...most of our recruitment last summer were loan deals
Conte highlighted part of the problem which as not been addressed since poch
The same fans wanted potch out as well
Amazing what a couple of free Go-Kart tickets buys you from Jordan. He was brutal about Levy until he was invited to a game in the owner's box.
Simon also needs to get over the pochitino for that champions league season. They did good in spite of Levy rather than anything he contributed.
Simon talks smart, and is an intelligent man, but his defence of every ownership, blindly, makes him look a fool. I get that for him, attacking an owner would admit his own shortcomings in that department but maybe he should try and be a bit more impartial.
Success for The Spurs hierarchy is revenue and not titles.
Simon Jordan probably defended Mike Ashley when he owned Newcastle United too 🤣🤣🤣
There was nothing wrong with the way Mike Ashley ran Newcastle, the fans didn't like it, 'cos Ashley didn't want to spend money, he wanted to balance the books. Ashley had no real ambition to win things at Newcastle, because that would require the spending of large amounts of money, and hoping it pays off.
@Kiprith Yh, you're on your own with that one about Mike Ashley mate. He ran Newcastle the way he runs Sports Direct. In true slavery fashion.
Ed Woodward got the heat for the failure of Man Utd over the last decade as the main constant when they had multiple managers
Surely the same premise should apply to Daniel levy, he’s overseeing everything at spurs despite the chop and changing of managers 🤷♂️
Conte and Mourinho won with every team except Tottenham, the one constant is Levy
Kate with some decent points at the end which they just ignored
Simon is spot in with this 🙌🏼

I agree with Simon on almost everything but not the state of Levy - Levy out
Simon talks so much BS!
“But I don’t think Daniel has”
And then proceeds on with a 5 minute point based on what he THINKS two men discussed behind closed doors.
Conte said it as it is. With Levy Spurs will never win anything.
Levy never wants to pay top dollar for a quality player but charges top dollar for tickets and merchandise
the hardest thing with the spurs job is that you have had 6 or 7 transfer windows of Mourinho & Conte signings which arent very attacking, look at how many poor defenders, defensive midfielders and hard working wing backs they have for the 3 - 4 -3 style . it will take a lot of unpicking
This is karma. Levy sack Mourinho before a cup final. Spurs will continue to suffer.
Levy is a dead loss as far as the football side of the business period
Blame him for what? overachieving? lol
Thank God for Simon. God bless him. Honest and logical
I think there are certain questions that need to be asked
1: Do Spurs spend enough money?
