@@jow6845 It is the correct British pronunciation. However, the French town Nice is not pronounced "nice", it is "nees". On the whole though, it was a pretty good listen I thought.
Aren't all these Somerset Maugham stories AI narrations? They're not bad at all but you do get a few small inaccuracies. The illustrations are obviously AI, and I guess the music too.
I very much enjoyed the Story ..and the Narrator . I am sure it seems easy to read out loud! I only noticed one small little detail and I probably would not have .. except i always read the comments to see if it’s a light or dark type story if the Author is new to me.. lol I think 🤔 the thing is we are used to having one specific and spectacular narrator. Soo im always willing to be kind and let the kinks work out! I absolutely would say this was a beautiful and sweet story.. thank you! ❤❤ I do not complain ever when these wonderful story are given for free.. 🙃🫶🏼❤️

That AI voice often pauses, strangely, in the middle of a sentence -- as I'd a page is being turned.
I had ads. Narration was strange imo. Emotionless.
