Seasons greetings Fred, it does seem that the most popular videos are always going to be May/June time bit it's nice to give people something to pass the time during the closed season I think? I'm just about to watch the latest offering from Caorach 👍
Cheers, Peter, it has been a very grey Christmas. I don't mind the cold, crisp, sunny days, but this weather pattern is just depressing 😕 Roll on spring 👍
Thanks for watching, it's very much a labour of love for me and I think I'd still video stuff even if nobody watched. It doesn't mean it's not appreciated when people enjoy them 👍 it's human nature I suppose.
I've been looking forward to the Christmas bonus and it didn't disappoint! What a fantastic place to fish. Here's wishing you a very happy New Year Chris and thanks for giving us so much enjoyment in '24.
Many thanks, Mike. I must admit that editing the video has started the "Trout fever," and we still have eleven weeks to go! Roll on 2025 and some Moor fishing 👍
Thanks Chris. I've been planning the new season as best as I can for the past week or two, buying a fish finder and an anchor for when I'm out on the kayak, and putting cheap flights and charters to Malaga and Morocco in my basket. It's only a few weeks until I can break the salmon gear out, and only a few after that until the 3wt gets a dusting off. I'm trying not to get impatient, so this was a nice wee surprise to remind me that the river will still be there. Merry Christmas.
I'll be back on the river in a few days' time for our clubs bank "tidying" sessions. Once that starts, you know the new season isn't far away. We might even manage the odd fly tying evening to help pass the time 👍
Merry Christmas, Robert. I also do a bit of rewatching. If nothing else, it can remind you of certain patterns that you need to tie for the new season.
Great video Chris and a lovely strean, sunny today so I got to fish for grayling but too much flow still so blanked however enjoyed it anyway, look forward to your first spring video. ATB mike
Hi Mike, still nice to be out despite the blank 👍 we start our bank clearing Sunday week which will be a good excuse for a paddle 😆 it will be interesting to see the damage from the storms we've had so far.
A very enjoyable surprise post Christmas thank you
Only a few months to go and the Moor will beckon. Thanks for your little slices of trouty beauty
I've promised myself to explore more of the Duchy in 2025, but New Year resolutions don't always pan out ( like last years diet plan).
That was an unexpected Christmas treat Chris! Memories of summer. A lovely little river. 😊😊

Happy Christmas. Stunning river, good fishing😊
Just what's needed on a foggy drab day. Love the small waters.

Well in my friend. This cheered me up no end .
Thanks Chris, that was a much needed winter pick me up.
You're welcome. It's nice for me to look back aswell, it also gives me an excuse to dissappear from the madness for a few hours to edit the video 👍
I look forward to seeing your amazing fishing experiences again next year!

Many thanks. Here's hoping 2025 is a bit kinder for you conditions wise 👍 I look forward to a few kayak videos that should be fun.
Cheers Chris, this was a nice surprise and a very enjoyable watch as always! Keep up the great content and a very happy new year from N. Ireland 😎🎣👍
Thanks Ian, just 11 weeks left to wait, I think?
@ Yes, won’t be long now! 1st of March here in NI, at least on the rivers that I fish. Tightlines for 2025 👍
Great content as usual Chris! Thanks for the surprise. Makes you want to get the gear out for the river. Countdown is on……

Happy Christmas and tight lines in new year 👍
Another great video, thanks Chris. Been rewatching mine as a ‘river fix’! Merry Christmas

Thanks for posting this Chris, a nice surprise!
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful river, great film Chris, Happy New Year
Yep, it's a beautiful stream. The fish are small, but then, if it was full of two pounders, then I doubt I could afford to fish it 😃
😊🇬🇧👍🍺
