Big Boy was the narrator to my life growing up in LA, from the early 90’s as a kid until now. I’m 40 and have a family and my kids know Big Boy, every major moment in my life Big Boy was the narrator. From getting driven by my momma to school and then driving to work and then driving my kids to school Big Boy was there. If there was anyone I’d want to do my eulogy, it would be Big Boy. Nuff Respect 🫡 Shalawam.
Dr Dre signed a skinny white boy from Detroit. Little did he know... He was signing the greatest rapper of all time disguised as White boy. D Dre is going straight to heaven - but not VIP.
@@mindbully i'm a Dr.Dre fan, but Timbaland & Neptunes body of work puts Dr.Dre's to shame... and they both got more hit songs & albums. J.Dilla & DJ Premier's body of work would also give Dr.Dre a run for his money.
I was the first person in line at Tower records to buy “Dre 2001” i remember the co-work said” why you here so early “ and I told him l Dr.Dre is more then music is a LIFESTYLE “ Bro!! Said touché!!!! DRE is the king of the west coast sound…. 🤴🏾
My introduction to hip hop was Dr. Dre. After seeing the Dre Day video I asked my mother to buy me “The Chronic” I was in 5th grade. I still remember the day I pressed play. 💯
The beats on Chronic 2001 are INSANE! I was SHOOK that he produced "What's The Difference?" beat -- which was later sampled by Blu Cantrell and Sean Paul. I see why Michael Jackson didn't wanna work with The Neptunes -- Dre's production went UP!
Big boy uncle for me is the real OG that helping a lot in hip hop culture and everything that we all know now god bless him and her family ❤ forever big fan of hip hop from Malaysia🙏🏻
Can't even say enough when it comes to Dr Dre. I've played every song, inspired by every beat, watched the rise, evolution, and influence of such a man and icon. He helped others and they've helped others. Much respect and thank you for my lives sound track
I absolutely love Dr Dre. I love that he is a shining star even in the time where there is some much going on in the news. He is an example of a person that has some much influence on some many people in the Hip Hop industry and didnt take his power to exploit them and do inhumane things to get here. He sees talent and wants to see people succeed by building them up and then letting them lose to thrive. Thats a beautiful thing to have all that power and not using it for his own glory. We love you Dr Dre. I have always loved your music your talent and your display of knowing your talent and not using to get what you want. I grew up going to my grandmothers on 133rd st right in the hood. I would always think I wonder if he was just around the corner from my grandmothers house making his beats in a garage back in the 90's. Keep using your GOD givin talent to make the world dancing. PS thanks for signing Anderson Paak I love that man. BigBoy30 thanks for all that you do in your shows you are amazing to see your humility and your love for people is amazing.... Keep spreading GODs love in the music industry where others might be doing things that dont come from GOD.....

When I was in elementary school I had a dr dre poster on my wall, he was just a young new producer/rapper. It had dre on it wearing a Compton hat with a big skull smoking a blunt. I was 11 or 12 white kid from the suburbs and loved hip-hop.
I remember hearing Dre for the first time around 87 when NWA first started. I couldn’t believe my ears of the beats that was made by him and Yella. It was something dope and fresh. So glad I’ve got to listen to many of his beats and the artists he puts out. From Snoop, Jimmy Z, Michelle, DPG, Eminem, DOC, Nate Dogg…. And also thank you BigBoy.. I loved listening to you back on that other station. Thank you for being a staple in the LA area.
SALUTE BIG.. This was dope. You are a part of, AND FOREVER WILL BE ENGRAVED IN WEST COAST HIP HOP HISTORY,... MORE IMPORTANTLY, HIP HOP'S HISTORY, AS A WHOLE!!! And can't NOBODY take that shyt from you. Much love and RESPECT 💪💯🔥

Big Boy has always been such a good guy. No wonder people like Dre wouldn't even hesitate to show up for him.
Respect
Even the time he slapped Dee Barnes?
The more I watch Dr.Dre the more and more and more respect I grow for him. And the others? Legends also.
The best to ever touch a mixing board. The one who brought top notch quality to hip hop period. The one and only Dr D.R.E 🫡💯
Id say him & Dj QUIK are 1A & 1B when it comes to mixing, in no particular order
Dr. Dre is unrepeatable ❤
