Agreed, just one of the many reasons this iteration of Godzilla deserves respect. He may not be as durable as OG Godzilla, but he is fast, intelligent and as the Loch Ness episode showed, compassionate.
The Leviathan one is the most impressive Godzilla victory in this vid As Godzilla had the least amount of help from Nick and the others in that fight(excluding the battle with the first monster in the new family part 2) It also showed Godzilla’s impressive adaptability to fighting underwater without his signature atomic breath
I do have a very small and very slight complaint- this is a video of the best beastly battles and yet the very best beastly battle of this series is missing: Godzilla vs. Cyber-Godzilla.
I don't know why but every time I see Zilla Jr fight other monsters i get worried that it could be his last fight but my Zilla buddy never let me down he she always kicks those monsters butts. I just love this Zilla so much.
Man, I actually think King of The Monsters and GvK felt more like unofficial sequels to Godzilla 98 than to G14. And some of the monsters in this series DEFINITELY appear to have influenced the Monsterverse. I mean the Warbat is basically a CLONE of King Cobra. And that robot is pretty much how I would picture a Monsterverse version of Mechani Kong would look like.
Fun facts the Snake bat thingy is actually war bat from godzilla vs Kong and when zilla and robo yeti they where teaming on warbat that was a refrence to godzilla and Kong teaming on mechagodzilla
Should we tell them that this came out WAYYYYY before Godzilla vs kong? (The series ran from 1998-2000, GvK didn’t happen till 2021) so if anything the warbat is a reference to King Cobra along with the fight between warbat & kong is a reference to yeti vs king cobra

It's a weekly series, it's fortunate that they had time to create decent monster design for each episodes while for movies they need at least 1 year to create a new monster designs.
