Hello sir I am from India. I watch your video and I have learned a lot from you, for which I want to thank you wholeheartedly and keep teaching us like this. I want to make my son an art historian like you
Excellent series. Didn't realize the significance of Warhol art. Especially true now, because social change is so fast with technology. Makes time and life itself a blurred reality. I was hit by a car and just starting to get mobility back. I treasure every step and bike. ride.
hello professor..i just saw your lessons yesterday..myself parag from india.. i want to thank you for your amazing, highly organized and uniquely detailed lessons..hope we will get more in future.
If anyone wants to get their hands on a dupe for Klein Blue, the brand Culture Hustle sells it along with a consumer-friendly dupe for Vantablack. I feel like the class would appreciate the Stewart Semple-Anish Kapoor feud, some modern-day art world drama ;)
The lecture became better as it went along. Warhol as you say looked at the multi image just as adverts bombard the viewer about ads for products. The truth is lost in the image of selling cars as it usually has a beautiful half naked woman with the male smoking. The picture say that the man has the woman and has a car. Adverts sells the object, but not necessary the real situation and it is the world of envy.
Actually Corporations just have children make those wonderful consumer products for a penny a day in 3rd world countries. We think we have choice but nah. Love these lectures ❤.

I saw a meme that said "RIP Andy Warhol. Your lazy ass would've loved AI." 😅
Living women become works of art when some guy signs them, ughhh. Did he sign any naked men? 😂😂😂
No, it was pretty sexist, but it was the 60s and feminism was just getting started. We'll hit feminism next week.
38:15 - no such word. I think you mean "detritus" - pronounced de-TRITE-us. Come on, Prof. You can do this! ; - )
Art for art's sake. desperation. It may be "art" but how valid or valuable is it? as art. Art should be about more.
