Roland Alphonso

As you might have discovered…I just absolutely love tunnels, garages, bunkers, churches, and other possible rooms and spaces with lots of natural reverb. Here I am in a walking tunnel close to where I live, playing ‘Roland Alphonso’, a piece I learned from a duo recording by the late jazz trumpeter Don Cherry (who also played melodica beautifully) and master drummer Ed Blackwell. I believe the melody was composed by Roland Alphonso himself, who was an original member of The Skatalites. I am not sure though. Hope you like it anyway. ✊✊✊🎹🎹🎹
