- I've been looking everywhere for classy solutions to mount LED Light Bars from OPPSK, LaLuceNatz, etc... I have found two solid solutions! An adapter to mount onto a mic stand, and a floor stand.
Gravity Mic Stand: amzn.to/3DuAgoC
M8 to 3/8 Mic Stand Adapter: amzn.to/3KfX6Ee
Floor Stand: amzn.to/3OwnTyH
Light Bar In Video: • OPPSK 72W 24LED Light ...
If you want an adapter for the light bars with the brackets in the back like the round filter OPPSK, you'll need an m6 to 3/8 mic adapter, which can be found here: amzn.to/3FIuctS.

Those floor stands for Pars are GREAT! I have a couple of them but never thought about using them for a bar or tube style light. Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely going to start using them in that way now.
They sure are great! Thanks for watching!
Mic stand was a great idea. I ended up using 5/8 Female to 3/8 Male Screw Adapter and a 3/8 Female to M8 Male Screw Thread Adapter to work on mic stands we had laying around. Both adapters available on amazon for cheap. Keep the ideas coming!!!
I tried to avoid two adapters, I really wish there was a 5/8 to m8 adapter. But probably more economical for most to use the mic stands they already have!
I've got 2 ADJ 42 inch mega bars. I got a board 1 1/2 inch thick. Cut two 12 x12 squares. Ran a screw through the bottom. Holding the screw to the wood with a lock nut on top. Painted the wood black.
Awesome!
I've been trying to figure this out for over a month. Brilliant idea. Keep em coming, handsome. (Woof)
Glad to help!
I came to the same solution with the microphone stands after a while of investigating. The adapter that I had to order from Germany is the solution.
These lighting manufacturers need to start to be thinking how we'll actually use these lights at gigs and give us accessories
Awesome ideas keep up the good work
Thank you! 🙏 You
The Gravity straight round base mic stands have the adapter on it.
which adapter? It comes with the m8 to 3/8th adapter?
Thank you sir!
You are welcome!
Love the idea! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching!
Excellent ideas! Thanks!
Cool channel btw
Thanks!
Any other findings on how to mount these? I have both the original version and new version of these OPPSK lights and I'm looking for creative ways to mount them to mic stands. If standing the V1 units from the bottom, they're awfully susceptible to bending the frame. Would be much more secure if I can find a way to mount in the middle somehow.
Also: if I am setting up 8 of these, it'd be GREAT if I could mount them on 4 mic stands (instead of 8) by finding a way to have a mic stand hold one high and one low side-by-side.
Any insight here? Thanks! (and thanks for your great videos Daryl!)
my current dilemma is finding a way to display my JMAZ pixel bar 5050s, they are pretty heavy.
Okay, so this is what I want but to use the mic stand as an actual mic stand. I just wanna be flashy!!!
Thank you !
Thank YOU for watching!
Thanks for your videos❤. Will the floor stand fits the both 360 tube?
You'd need a long 1/4" screw and a washer. But it should
Thank you. Great idea. Do you have any suggestions on hanging fixtures from a residential ceiling without using a truss? It is for a home discotheque.
Some venues hang trussing onto the wood studs in the ceiling, that would probably be nice if you want to swap out fixtures often. You could just drill it directly into the ceiling into a stud
I saw your UA-cam video and saw the H shaped floor mounts. I had these mounts when I bought my SlimPar 64 lights. Could I just get m6 bolts and a spacer to get it off the floor?
To answer myself: Yes!
I used the same adapter on a mic Stand for the 360 BO tubes. Connects ok. However, please confirm that the BO 360 tubes will feel wobbly on the mic stand?
Best to keep them behind the dj when on the stands? The base of the 360 tube is not secure on simply the threaded adapter.
I guess wobbly is subjective, there's different levels of wobble. But yes, I recommend that they be by the dj setup on mic stands. Id use something else or wrap it around a pillar or something if being used around the room
Daryl, I have the other OPPSK light bars. RGBW the ones with the white frost and powercon power cable. With these accessories work for those lights?
That one is a bit different! I detail it in this video:
ua-cam.com/users/shorts55H8pYo3Seg?feature=share
you'll need an M6 to 3/8 Adapter instead of the M8 to 3/8 Adapter.
@@DJDarylBennett ok, one more question. is there a clamp to clamp the other OPPSK light bars. (RGBW the ones with the white frost and powercon power cable) to the mic gravity stands?
Hey Daryl, is there a generic alternative to those Gravity mic stands?
Maybe, you just need to ensure that they have the 3/8" on top. Instead of the standard 5/8". The gravity stands aren't too pricey compared to other mic stands, kind of middle of the road pricing
go down to your local metal frabricator and have a base and 50mm(2 inch elsewhere) aluminum pipe made if youre serious about this.
How do you transport all these light stands? The base isn’t collapsible like a standard mic stand. I just bought 4 Chauvet ColorRail light bars. You think this would work on these lights?
The base unscrews, but I just keep it fully assembled and stuff it in my vehicle
Would the gravity mic stands be compatible with the bo titan tubes?
Like placing it on top? It would be really tall, but yes. You'd need 1/4" to speaker stand adapter.
Nice.. which adapter is correct they have different numbers
I'm using the 3/8 to m8 adapter
Will these methods work with the oppsk led light bars ? (the one with the rounded diffuser.)
Great question. That one needs an M6 adapter instead of M8
what would you use to hang these on a metal door with a magnet?
Hi I haven't tried these specific ones, but something like this should work. My both uplights came with something similar and it's rock solid
amzn.to/40Umc2x
Will the gravity mic stand + adaptor work for the other oppsk LED light bars?
Which light bars? If you provide a link I’ll probably be able to help tell you
@DJDarylBennett for some reason my replies are disappearing. Maybe if I respond without including a link... it's the one that says "LED Pixel Bar - 60W, RGB 3n1" in the title. Hope that works!
How do they look mounted horizontally on tripods?
Look at the 5 min mark. I'm using a t bar ua-cam.com/video/tnKh0gha7RM/v-deo.htmlsi=WylQGv2w1GYRBm_U
Which light is this?
These ones!

Doesn’t the light shine in your eyes
Really depends on the light... Some are diffused and less harsh. The lights in this video would be too bright, but you can dim it using DMX control and get a great eye candy effect.
