Bro! I have actually tried french and did it for a year . The thing is you can lern it in a year if you are student but it is not possible with a full-time job.

It is possible with a full time job, and a 1 year old! I did it in 10 months and cleared the exam last month.

Better stay in your home. The health sector with canadian Education and licences may help. Otherwise it is a waste of time and money

Sahil, French is not realistically a year's endeavor. If you are working full-time, you will likely need 2-3 years. Some people might need more. To do that, you need a lot of motivation, commitment and time. Do you think French will remain a Category after 2026 to allow for time to actually learn French?
Canada needs skilled immigrants like plumbers , STEM and having a lot of food sector workers is bad for the economy.

You should learn French first then let us know how long it takes to learn french from scratch. You are a Canadian citizen/ pr. If you don't have learnt French then how could you expect others to learn the language ?

@mrkhan2983 If a candidate has travelled to specific countries or works in a government organisation, then it's likely that those candidates would enter comprehensive security screening..Can u mention the scenarios of people who have been stuck in BG screening?

LOL... French .. you can learn quickly is a joke... Yes, I have tried it. But have you checked on the french? For many it is very difficult to learn a new language that too french in late 30s.. It has so many silent letters and pronunciation based on gender ... like what ? very complicated.
French is not for everyone. Only those good at learning languages has a shot

Learning French is easier if you’re European and are already multilingual. For non-Europeans, learning French can be a pain in the ass. Only those really talented in language learning can nail it
True. It’s a useless language, even in Canada, unless you are willing to settle in Quebec. So it’s really hard to maintain the motivation.
