Blooming Ascension Nujabes and Shing02 had a pretty big impact on me as a teenager, and still do now as an adult. Completely shaped my taste in music, and made me understand that the real gold is in the underground.
ZeranZeran same!! (I'm a teenager currently) so True I found nujabes first then him and few others but shing AMD nujabes hit home for me man.

@xw2ndx My take is that people are capable of being genuinely good without the "ultimate high" of sex being the only thing desired. Lyrics are a journey of this:
Verse 1 - Reflects one's honest (genuine) attempts in life, though often unrequited
Verse 2 - Turns to a significant other who understands and cares
Verse 3 - Their relationship is damaged (possibly significant other only wanted sex)
Verse 4 - Finds hope again in humanity through others still acting benevolently despite their own pasts
One can't observe his message through portions, rather, as a whole big picture. His song refers to, (my interp.), those special unspoken moments with that special someone. No matter how deep you're in, how and why, this someone will share the gift of presence, as music shares the same gift. Nothing else matters at that point, even words, b/c just being able to produce raw emotions through action is an indescribable joy. He then justifies these feelings - what should be done from here on out.
