My favorite place to use Heely’s was at Costco and Lowe’s because the smooth cement floors were * chef’s kiss * 🤌💋🤤
I miss my heelys. The best place to wear them was the supermarket or the mall because the floor was so smooth, with a run up you could glide so far. I never ever wanted to go shopping with my mum before I got the heelys but when I had them I'd always be asking her when she was next going so I could go too. Then I'd ask her for things she needed around the store so I would have an excuse to use them when I fetched the item.
I was never allowed to get heelies as a kid.... so I bought them a few weeks ago
Our parents don't let us have cool stuff as kids so we can rebel as adults 👏

When heelys first came out doctors and nurses saw a spike of cases of children with arms broken in unusual ways, and found out it was caused by the way they tried to catch themselves when falling in heelys, so it was called the "heelys fracture".

I had a knockoff black pair of heelys with a button behind to take out the wheel and put it back without your hands, they were huge like DC’s and I looked like a boy but still wore them everywhere. Became an expert then they were banned. And felt bullied for not looking girlie enough and throw them into the thrash even tho I loved them 😪 sad story

I remember these! My brother was obsessed with his and always wore them at the mall (even when it wasn’t allowed) 😂 I could never figure out how to do it and I also didn’t like the color of mine - they were pink and white if I remember correctly.
i remember that back when i learned how to use them, I first acquired confidence and equilibrium using only one, then i went to the other foot and later combined them. You should try it :)

See, in my area of England around the same time Heelys were a girl thing and I don't remember boys having them at all. Everyone was crap on them too- if they wanted to "heel" more than a metre they'd have to get a parent to drag them along as well! Isn't it difficult to walk normally with the wheel digging into your heel?
