Although things gell apart at the end, we smashed this +9 tyrannical Halls. This class may have some frustrating issues, but it can CRANK heals!!!

Just under 3300 IO Pres here. I think the problem with this class is its range and, just that there is so few amount of people that actually play it. If you put in the time it's actually an incredible healer to bring to keys. Also be careful using verdant embraces to save peoples lives. They could be in a bad spot. Temporal, verdant yourself to spread the Alexstraza buff then emerald breath.
This is what always makes me nervous as I'm learning Pres. I have a tough time keeping track of where people are, so it's often a gamble doing VE. I *really* need to sort out my friendly nameplates in dungeons, I'm so dumb I can't figure out how to make them work, haha.
Stasis builds capitalize on using it to be your big heals after a massive AOE damage event. Press stasis, TA , to reversion, to max rank spiritbloom, will save your ass. Also, echo to reversion on the tank at all times.. I like to echo tank, echo a dps, hit reversion on a 3rd person, then reversion on a 4th. Another combo you can use it TA, to verdant embrace to renewing blaze for a 3rd HOT.
Try to not hard cast living flames, it burns a ton of mana. Also, I like to use verdant embrace as both a heal and a move skill.
But, yea watching this and I am yelling "STASIS, USE YOUR STASIS" lol

It really is tough swapping to different classes and trying to remember to use every spell optimally! I still think I like the Sphere>verdant embrace>emerald communion ramp as my biggest ramp, but I also really like Stasis>sphere>VE>dream breath since it spot heals then leaves a boosted dream breath on everyone!
The reason I don't play Preservation is I always just find myself asking 'why?', why am I having to think 5 steps ahead and setup 30 seconds before the damage is incoming to do the same healing as my druid pressing swiftmend and wild growth. Why do I have no tank healing? Why is my range so bad? The downsides are just not worth the upsides IMO.

Exactly. I want to like pres so bad but every time I play it I get annoyed and fizzle out with it’s limitations. The shorter range is beyond annoying to put up with. And the extremely positional based healing profile with TA and DB is frustrating when you add one or two ranged DPS to the mix.
Adam I could not have said it better myself lol. It really is like a constant puzzle, and normally i really enjoy puzzles and challenges, but this one just feel poorly designed

prevoker pumps, hes actually doing approx 30% more healing than other healers.. BUT the 30yrd range and freakin skillshots make him super hard, and since you dont really need shit ton of healing, more like quality of life and utility as a healer, hes the worst.
What are the unit frames for your party? I rly wanna be able to see what friendly auras I am putting on people just like that and I can't seem to customize it properly on SUF

I've been playing my evoker mostly this season and it's a challenge on a lot of fights.
Yeah I'll be honest, mid Khajin I looked to see what CD's I had left and there were none lol, I 100% pannicked a bit
@@LBNinja7 try AA and let me know how you manage to heal everyone on vexamus lol. I enjoy it for the most part but some fights are so hard! I liked what you did with the pinging though I'm going to try that.
been playing quite a few heal specs the last exp. but pres is just one i don't get on with. it feels way too fiddly (especially considering how simple the dps/support specs are)
It's very weird using your positioning as a means to heal people, and I totally get you!

I noticed the effects of the tier set people voted for PrEvo last week even though i've had it for quite some time now and i am like...are you guys crazy?
They voted for a Raid specific tier set, basically making the spec unplayable in higher M+ keys.
No sane person should think that Reversion's gonna keep people alive and the stat balance is so bad especially with how diminishing returns work, even in DF where they are changed slightly, like how could you lean into Crit enough to make the design of the kit work, it's like...Blizzard you are just randomly pressing buttons at this point as it seems like not enough thinking went into this.
The draw of the set is the instant buffed living flames. When you have reversion and lifebind on your target you can hit living flames north of 1.5 million healing that way. And since pres has very little reactive burst healing the instant casts really help. Thankfully Blizz realized that and it is getting baked into the spec next expansion.
@@Schnaqer Yeah, a random thing that comes up around 30% of the time that you need it, i consider that a joke of a design since by the time you do that your ally target is likely dead.
Don't get me wrong i am not saying it doesn't help, it does, but randomness in an environment that requires the exact opposite is clearly the incorrect thing to do.
