'Thom's Hartbreak' is a thank you letter to Thom Bell & William Hart, two names that are synonymous with the 60s/70s “Philly Sound”. This instrumental tune is an homage to a sound that shaped American music and left an indelible mark on the future of soul.

Love this music, but "Leave you alone" is the one that sends me. Hard to believe that this sound was engineered in 2024 and not the 60's. All I can think is, we need Say She She to put some vocals to this tune
OH YEAH!!! can't go wrong with Kelly at all. Just saw him a couple weeks ago here in Colorado Springs, I was blown away at the showmanship this cat has. AS ALWAYS LOVE YOU COLEMINE
XOXOXOXOXO
Right out the gate you let all the cats jump in and just groove. It feels like everybody is just doing their own thing but still in harmony. Those horns speak. That wind sings. Just an excellent arrangement
thanks for the love!!
@@ColemineRecords always. Thanks for the tunes
Kelly's songwriting just keeps going from strength to strength. He's seriously amassing an incredible catalogue of work between his solo projects, Monophonics and the other artists he works with and produces. A modern soul legend.
That's so beautiful. Always with the vibes...
Yes indeed!!
Thank you Maestro!
Perfect! 😻❤️👊🏽🎯
❤️❤️
Juste superbe ... !

I just heard this on a local station today. Felt like I belonged in a conversation pit in a rambler in the 70s. Great song!
This man needs to collab with Mayer Hawthorne
Why does this sound like that old Delfonics tune “La-La (Means I Love You)” to me???
Oh shit! I just read the notes in the description and it is an homage to Thom Bell and William Hart who wrote “La-La”!
I have come precisely to accuse him of plagiarizing the Delfonics song. When I heard it today I couldnt stop to hear the la-la-la from the original theme in my mind😂
@@aboehm1I think is just just standing in the thin line between homage and plagiarism :/
