  • The National Mentoring Programme is an opportunity for selected writers across the island of Ireland to receive sustained creative and professional mentoring from an acclaimed Irish writer of their choosing.
    Featured in this film is NMP Programme Coordinator, Brendan Mac Evilly, Past NMP mentee, Fíona Scarlett and NMP mentor Joanna Walsh.

    The IWC National Mentoring Programme is supported by the Arts Council. Many of the mentorships are made possible thanks to the generous support of arts offices, arts centres, libraries and literature organisations across the island of Ireland.

    I'm moving to Ireland. This place is main reason...my grandfather was John de courey Ireland and he talked about me being a poet...

    Sorry I'm dis let sick...so obviously can't spell it but boy do I love words and truly I dream come true a place like this... I've written a few TV comedies which I would like to do.. thinking how main one could be play first... just don't want to work for BBC...as they are So openly racist towards the Irish...The saying 'the Island of Ireland' was first started by Alistair Stewart on BBC news, and he so openly was using it to take piss and the smile on his face when hearing it said back to him was nasty... and clearly done to make fun....and so the evidence is there for all to see....
