@realitychecc1 I agree and I also really appreciate how he shows love to all types of frags! That’s exactly how I am too. I love clones, designers, cheapies, niche and even vintage. They are tools, you don’t need just one type in your toolbox. That’s the worst part of many channels out there is how they rag on designers for example and make you feel like an amateur if you like them… when those are best for work type scenarios!!!!…. Some people could really use a ego check. Like fr.
Y Edp intense is my favorite one in the line. Definitely not named properly. I enjoy the mellow nature of it.

Glad Rochas Man Intense is getting some exposure here. I really like it, almost a signature scent for me. Quite linear in my experience, a ton of coffee upfront and then a smooth slightly spiced sweet vanilla in the drydown. Fairly cheap, not particularly long lasting. Something I just overspray when I'm hanging out around the house. Definitely recommend for those who like sweet, coffee fragrances.

Put it this way . whether I like (YSL myself) or not . I brought it on my lunch hour and by the time I’d got back to work I’d already had multiple comments , the folk at work was digging it and the mrs and kids love it too . There’s not many fragrances I have that had that many people comment on it (positively) the first time I’ve rocked something new .
I’m a bit introverted so I’m quite careful how and when I wear certain fragrances.
I never thought for one second when I put it on it would get that much attention so this is a surprising one for me as well
Ysl myself had to grow on me, it did’t ever smell bad, just did’t wow me. However the more time I spend with it the more I like it. Plus the versatility is so good you can wear it in any occasion now it’s one of my go to dumb reaches.
The problem with YSL Myslf is that frag heads & enthusiasts have gotten used to and expecting the YSL Y dna and scent profile. If Guicci or Paco Rabonne made this, it might be received as different. To be honest--this seems to be a holiday money grab for YSL. They know they have a loyal following & name recognition will get this some interest. Honestly, I think they had some chemicals and ingredients that needed to be used and mixed it up and came up with this!! To say disappointing to some is an understatment...but Def not one of the best in the line. As always, appreciate your opinions and cant wait until the next video!
It’d be hilarious if YSL MYSLF was loaded with aroma chemicals that react to everyone’s skin differently. Because it would make sense why everyone’s reactions would be so polarizing because they’d be smelling…themselves 😂

I love ysl myslf, but it definitely sits like sunscreen on my skin. Tried it multiple times. I just put it on clothes now since I really do love it.

I wore D&G Light Blue Summer Vibes and received 2 “Axe” references and haven’t worn it since.
On my recent trip through duty free of the tons of tester strips I sprayed, YSL myself was the one I kept going back to. Generic, absolutely but dammit it just smells good!
Wait until you get it on skin, that's when the real disappointment and buyers regret kicks in!
When it’s on my skin it smells great and women love it not one was disappointed. Does it smell wild no do women absolutely think you smell great hell yes they do sage buy easy dumb reach imo on my skin.
Ross, I was lucky enough to snag a bottle of MYSLF early on and was super disappointed in it. It's been a couple months now and I'm still disappointed in it, but I wear it occasionally and do enjoy it. I just think YSL missed an opportunity to create something new and incredible. Instead they made MYSLF which is new, but not different than many other modern releases.
Most wanted EDP is probably the most difficult to like in the line i think butnive found alot of it is compared to The Mosted Wanted andnother night tome fragrances...where as this one is more of a day fragrance
Rochas Man Intense is such a nice and easy to wear scent. Its smells like sweat Cappuccino.
YSL myself is a projector too. Y EDP intense smells like sweat in the dry down for me. Summer vibes is more like bummer vibes haha. Italian love is their strongest flanker I think. Nice haul video

That YSL has a strong resemblance to Libre for the ladies…not sure if it’s worth a purchase though. Still mass appealing so it will sell for sure.
I wore ysl y edp intense for about a week after I bought it and ended up trading it to my buddy for lataffa Fahkar black if that tells you anything lol Keep up the hard work Ross! 💪🏼
You know I enjoy ysl myself chick magnet easy reach which are needed to round out any collection. Rochas always a no brainer… I thought summer vibes was a little warm for a summer frag on my skin … azzaro makes some great dark scents to me this should have been tweaked make a canibus note would have set this off. Ysl intense is great when you don’t want to be as screechy as the edp more day time appropriate but I’d still reach for eau fraiche during the day but maybe a.m cooler day time scent when the edt would be “too” much. Really guys can’t go wrong with any of these in the right circumstance. Great first impressions on these Ross 🎉

Nailed it with MYSLF, it’s marketed toward the younger crowd anyway who may be just getting into fragrances, and its accomplishing just that. It’s a solid release! And Y EDP Intense is the most professional and office friendly in the Y line. The others are geared for either casual, going out with friends, or date night. I think the Intense completes the line with it’s more mature and grown up vibe it’s got going on.
YSL EDPI is a fantastic fragrance. I enjoy how smooth it is.
Loved the video! I am on the opposite end of the Spectrum with the YSL MYSLF and the Wanted EDP. I LUV them!!! Especially Wanted EDP lol the way the opening aromatics hit my nose is everything to me lol and the YSL to me is a Powdery bluish type frag n that's my favorite

Seen a lot of Fragrance UA-camrs talk up Y EDP Intense like it's the second coming and I don't understand why unless they're getting paid to because it is not really that great. To me it's an expensive shower gel and nothing more.
I actually don't mind the New Summer Vibes nor the MySlf either. They're nothing to write home about but seem to just be an overall easy wear. Mass appeal to sell sell sell imho. Appreciate the Reviews 🤙😎

Hey Ross, Brave pick ups. The 2 most hated designer releases this have to be Wanted EDP & YSL Myself. I got my nose on both of these and totally agree with your synopsis.

Yes, but Cool Water Intense to be exact. It's less tropical than that but still fairly similar.

I tested the ysl and to me is has some elements from tom ford f fabulous,grape syrup and something from late 90s early 2000s from liz clairborn i know im crazy😅
Rochas man (the original) is the only one I have in this bunch. I think it’s good, I like the cappuccino note in there. And it looks like a lava lamp. Looks more like a paco rabanne release, but I digress. I love Givanchy I’d like to try that new release from them for sure. Have a great day!

Got Wanted EDP for a steal and still have only wore it once it was meh for me. Gentleman Society didn’t sit well with me upon first impression, maybe I need to give it another wearing 🤔. I really dig Y EDP Intense though, versatile banger imo.
It’s funny that most people have talked down on Ysl myslf. This is the first one that I got a compliment on! I think it smells really good even if it’s a ‘mass appealing’ fragrance.
Also, it smells similar to most wanted and Ralph’s club elixr!

I don't have any of them 🤪. I'm always searching 🔎 for different but good scents. No redundancy & different notes i never smelled before.
Y Myself is just a more masculine leaning version of YSL Libre for women. They share many of the same notes. Myself is just more citrus forward and doesnt have the vanilla.
Tried em all and they are all good they smell good. Haven't pulled the trigger on any yet. I don't have any of the ys tried le parfum the edp and the edp intense is the only one I'm gonna get.
When you kept saying it's not bad I was going to type that companies don't typically make bad fragrances and then I remember Cuba black. I still haven't even been able to give that away and I'm sure you still agree that it is the worst fragrance. I'm pretty convinced that they all got in the laboratory and just wanted to make something that absolutely disgusted people
Wanted edp when it sits on skin for a few hours smells similar to jpg scandal to me. It's grown on me, and it is my favourite wanted fragrance.

Ross, many of my thoughts are close to yours. Y EDP Intense, good but weakest in the line. Wanted EDP was pretty generic. YSL MYSLF was basic. Light Blue Summer Vibes was a fail for me. Givenchy Society smells good, but doesn't touch the rest of the line. Rochas Man is my pancake syrup cappuccino happy fragrance, love it.

I love YSL but the orange blossom is overpowering in MYSLF. Smells very feminine to me in the opening. I’d rather wear A&F First Instinct Together for now.
Wow, this video was different than what I am used to from you. I kinda feel like for the first in a very long time, you let the criticism of others kinda influence your review on this a bit. YSL MYSELF and Gentlemen society I kinda feel like you didn't give a fair shake. I think if you bought those two without checking out anyone else's reviews you would've rated those much higher or just had a better reaction all together to them. Nonetheless, great video, just some objective feedback.

Aww don’t do Givenchy Society like that. It smells generic and ain’t anything special but it is the best dumb reach If you can’t decide on what to wear. Plus the spices makes it a little different from most generic scents on the market.
