@@rachelsenglish okay that's great I'll check it out,
Thank you so much Rachel.
Hey , I love it , it is amazing and wonderful
Glad you liked it Christophe!
I have been watching your videos for a long time and I love the way you explain things. I have recently heard a native American speaker (Keino Campbell, Esq., a TOEFL iBT and IELTS Specialist) saying the sentence, "If someone went over to see me they would see two different people". The way he pronounced "went over" is something new to me. I want to learn they way he ran those two words together to sound like they were a single word. I might be able to share the audio clipping with you if your kindly considered making a video on this. Thank you in advance..
You're welcome and thanks for sharing @mindsocket4117!

I appreciate it @franciscojose6496!
Thanks a lot again, Rachel. This was a difficult sounds to me (spanish speaking) but then realized that this sound actually exist in spanish or at least it looks similar to me and it is the spanish 'r' sound as in 'cera' or 'coro' . Now I have to know when to make it and this video has helped me a lot on that.
You're welcome and thanks for watching @apolina79!
Very nice 👌 ❤
Thanks @sardarmohammad-hc1oj!
I like your the ring hairdo🥶
9:00 yo question ❓ no rush
The flap T sound is just like the Spanish R when it's between vowels or in a sentence where a word ends with an R and the following word begins with a vowel: pera, cariño, comer algo, etc That's why I never understood why so many Americans insist on pronouncing the Spanish single R wrong ( pronouncing it like an English R) when they could pronounce it like the flap t and get it right.
Thanks for sharing Monica!

Teacher I thank about your lesson because I'm learning little by little thanks, and I like your form you've spoken, teacher how can I do or learn or speak like native.?
Hi @user-lp8yi6gr2s! The best way is a combination of study/practice and actually using the language with native speakers, (preferably). As far as speed goes - the more you can surround yourself with the language the faster you'll learn it. I wish there was a way to magically download a language - but till then - have fun with study and practice and practice and study! :)
@@rachelsenglish thanks teacher I Will do it insha allah
Greetings from India
Hello there and thanks for watching!
💯💯💯
I want to suggest you teacher you could teach us more grammar like past simples, present perfect, present simples, there are lots people probably do not understand that kind of stuff subject...consider this please
everyone has your own opinion...mine was that so that's it
I agree with you. Because the American Accent has a particular way of grammar.
Thanks for the suggestion @MauricioPerez-sd4kv!
In my case, I love the focus of your videos (only pronunciation) because they’re a great help. I use your videos to practice and when I visit other accounts talking about grammar I don’t have to worry about pronunciation because I learned it from Rachel 😊. I know this is a lot of work you deserve more followers.
👏👏👏💙

The words with flap t can be as follows
Gravity
Metal
Electricity
Saturated
Saturday
Can these words we consider?
These words all include a flap T, yes!
hey rachel, when you talk about the flap t you are doing it as an 'r' but I think it is a 'd' isn't it?
Yes, it should feel and sound like a soft D.
@@rachelsenglish thank you for your comment am working on it❤❤❤ appreciate your efforts.

I had learned that Americans pronounce "water" as /ˈwɑtər/ (short ɑ instead of ɔ, which would be British). Is this also correct? Maybe it is a regional thing...
Yes, this is a regional thing. Most Americans will use AH or AW, but some can even use a sound closer to [ʊ].
are "baddie (slang word)" and batty pronounced the same way?
Yes, they are!
@@rachelsenglish thank you.
