When my nephew was a few weeks old, whenever he ate or was sleepy he would grab a handful of my sisters or my hair for comfort (I baby sat him while she worked) he did this until he was around 5 or so for comfort. You and baby are gorgeous!
It drives me crazy how people feel comfortable telling others how to care for their kids. As moms we know what each cry means, facial expression is for, etc. Yet strangers will assume they know or children better and what's best for them. I've got 4 of my own, two of each. But I've been hoping for a 5th, at almost 39 years old. I always wanted a big family, but we'll see what God has planned for the future. Sending love and prayers from a mama in PA.
We're planning for our 3rd homebirth very soon. I'm 38 wks along. We are also milking a cow every morning and evening, I should revise that, MY husband is... But I love hearing all the details and pray for a birth like this with the next one.
Congratulations to both Momma & Daddy plus the 6 Siblings on becoming big Sisters/Big Brother. He is absolutely gorgeous and his name is beautiful. Momma looks sooo proud & in love already (rightly so) .. you birthed him wonderfully ❤ .. such a beautiful family ❤
Dear goodness 🤦♀️ you’ve raised 7 kids already, I think you got it figured out. People gripe about the dumbest things 🤦♀️😩 you’re such a good mama Danielle!
Cohen is just beautiful. He looks so peaceful. Your hair is gorgeous and I'm so sorry you felt that you had to justify having it down. This is your life and your baby, you can do what you like. You have lots and lots of experience around newborns, so I would say you know what you are doing. Enjoy this special time with your new son 💙👣
Hair is beautiful! along with precious baby. Congrats 🎉 ❤ curious why you chose to bury the placenta instead of consuming it in pills form or tincture?
This will be my 7th baby and I *plan* to have an epidural like all my others, but baby number 5 came way too quickly I didn't have time for an epidural and thank goodness it went SO quickly and he came pretty fast even though it seemed like *forever* because I could NOT handle the pain.. my blood pressure went sky high and my anxiety was out of control because of the pain... I give you so much credit I don't know if I could do that again 😂 unless I had no choice of course I'd have to 😅
Check your thyroid (go to functional medical doctor as they look to optimal levels rather than a really broad range used by MDs that can miss things). May God bless you.
My best friend has me Recoreded saying never again as i was pushing him out he was alost 10 pounds a water baby yah 2 more after that one makes 6 kids. Wish would have done all mine at midwife center.
My first labored 40 hours natural(although pitocin was added 10 of thise hours) and then epidural for 2 more hours and let me say either way, it sucks and is exhausting. My last had the fetal ejection reflex and i needed and emergency csection and they told me to stop pushing for the epidural for surgery. I was like ✋😅 sir, i am not doing this.
@@Suebearish no. They all got stuck but were visible. All ended up csections. I believe it had to do with an old car accident injury I had that I never got checked out. I had bad pain for years after that finally healed so it mightve cause those issues.
Someone left a comment about the hair down and it being nasty abd unsafe.... I say: What an odd and very rude and weird comment. Strange folks these days. To the Murray's: My Mom and I have long hair and both of us have had three babies and our hair was down often unless we just wanted it up with our babies. And my brother twirled my Mom's hair as a baby and toddler and sucked his thumb. She wouldn't trade it for the world. Sorry to see such a crazy comment! Keep your hair how you want!🙄🥴😜😊

@@sherryarnold9742 the baby can put it in his mouth, it can wrap around his neck or fingers or even his private area. Only one loose strand can tie super tight around body parts that it can severely hurt him. Please google it, we were taught at anti natal groups when pregnant
@lowlife2023 when I first seen your comment, I then looked at your name and thought how fitting. Then I looked again and realised it was lollife not how I read it as Lowlife. The baby has his hand and feet covered so what is the issue? You can clearly see that hair is clean, so again what is the problem? I’m going to assume that you are that person that flips out if you find a small strand in your food. I truly cannot understand how people label beautiful luscious hair as disgusting. It was obvious that it is the only thing that you could pick on. Learn to be a positive person instead of a negative Nancy. It will change your world 😉
People always have something negative to say. Keep doing you!!! He's so handsome and you look amazing! ❤️❤️❤️
He looks like mom! Congratulations!!

He looks like merry!
Yes! I’ve been calling him her little twin.
That’s what I’ve been saying too he’s adorable
Congratulations it's a boy 😊
That BABY IS HUNGRYYYYYYY
Feel like I am missing something........what is the issue with long hair being down and a newborn?
I believe the fear was if the baby got a hair wrapped around his fingers or a toe, it can cause issues.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
congratulations on baby #8 I'm having trouble getting pregnant/ staying pregnant do you know any natural remedies or medicine that can help

I thought this was your 4th home birth?
Thats why i loved my midwife left hours later to me home
That baby wants milk. Not some where paci
She just fed him and heads up, milk is not the only answer for a disgruntled baby.

At least scoop your hair to the side in a braid to the side. It’s disgusting and super unsafe.

Please answer me this: how the hell is having her hair down is "unsafe"
