my method to find the percentiles which is much quicker is just - - decimal equivalent of percentile x total frequency, -minus the frequency of each group until you can't minus it without it becoming negative - divide the left over number you have by the frequency of that group - multiply it by the groups range - add it to the lower frequency of that group and I can get it done in like 20 seconds, I find it better than using the difference assuming that the distribution is identical
