About FNF
Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple "weeks", each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.
During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player's bar, while missing notes causes the opponent's bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent's bar fills up the entire bar.
For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player's high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

It's actually explained in the 2nd hidden video of the mod that GF knows Jeff is a killer and meets up with him the night before the events of his week and tells him to scare BF. He goes overboard, though.

Always feel bad for the Lost Silver dude... seeing him slowly lose himself to whatever is haunting the game is always so depressing. Dude starts out as hopeful and willing to fight and slowly starts to lose that hope and the will to fight... before being abandoned to his fate.

Yes, but also no. You're half right, but that itself is a separate creepypasta, Snow On Mt. Silver. Blake is the person who "possesses" Ethan/Gold in that pasta, and only loses a couple of his limbs before succumbing to the freezing cold.
Well, when it comes to SLENDERMAN, he is not actually evil according to mythology. But, a man named Victor Surge depicted Slenderman to be an evil creature who stalks people to kill them. In mythology, however, he was actually trying to save you from an agonizing death by taking you to the Under World early.
So, that is Slenderman's REAL intention, and from what you can infer from his goal, his personality.
But what about the proxies?

the whole point about Slender Man is that it has NO intentions, though. It's a god-like being that does shit for seemingly no reason, or at least has a reason that we cannot understand.

I know I may sound like you and that I may be wrong but I just want to say that I find it interesting that Jeff was actually able to hurt bf badly in the mod to the point that bf almost probably died, because usually, when the evil characters try to attack or kill bf physically, either girlfriend or the game protect him from this character, yet, Jeff was actually able to hurt bf physically without girlfriend or the game protecting him from the injury, which leads me to believe that either Jeff had enough power to break through girlfriend’s barrier of protection used for protecting bf, or girlfriend wasn’t fast enough to protect bf, or the devs decided to not intervene and to let an evil character actually hurt bf physically this time, this may also explain that Jeff might be way more powerful than we have expected…
It’s entirely from what the 2 account holders of this reply understand a scare prank gone wrong. GF had no idea so probably didn’t apply that Barrier that can only be removed if bf loses said rap battle. or Jeff into Pokémon Sword and Shield and gave himself the unseen fist ability(all contact attacks can’t be stopped with moves like protect or King’s shield.)

I just wanted to make corrections, that being that in the Jeffrey Woods channel from the Jeff the Killer week, we see GF telling Jeff to scare BF, but Jeff takes it too far
Also Masky and Hoodie aren’t proxy’s, They actively work against Slenderman in the Marble Hornets series where they are from; although they aren’t good guys either
So a pair of rival killers? Interesting. Hope they don’t have one of them actually turn into a proxy and get the other as a second proxy.

In the FNF Mod, The GameBoy shown is a normal GameBoy, But Pokémon Silver is for the GameBoy Color. You can tell the GameBoy in the mod is a normal model because it has the standard yellow-ish white color, and the buttons are red. So that’s a detail that’s pretty whack on the Mod developer’s side
Another fact about Jeff the killer when Jane the killer morphed into his twin brother he told her he didn’t mean to kill him. He has a piece of him still in him but he lost his sanity due to that fire

He also takes out his victims by slowly ticking fragments of their soul, until they’re nothing but a shell, and then he physically tortures them. Another thing only helps his proxies. He is a helper. He’s not fully evil, but he helps his proxies he is ruthless towards everyone, but his proxies, and Jeff’s brother Lui does survive

Why am I finding this man’s animations less scary than his actual face?
Fun fact the 2 people that tie up g f in the slender man part are actually, proxies from slender, the arrival one of them is Lauren, I think in the other one is Kate Lauren is assumed to become a proxy by the ending, and Kate is a proxy by the start of the game. If I'm gonna be honest, it's kind of sad, how everyone who attempts to defeat slender man joins his team. But yeah, there's a fun fact. And I know I sound like one of those guys that is like, oh, you got one thing wrong, how dare you, but I just had to point that out. I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to these things.
