- Andy Greene has been a fixture of the USDGC for 25 years, announcing the name of every competitor to step up to Winthrop Hole One since the tournament’s beginning. This year, at the USDGC’s 25th Anniversary, Andy introduced the players for the last time. Though he can’t be replaced, Andy is ready to pass the mic to someone who brings positive energy to the athletes and spectators as they head onto one of the most challenging, compelling-to-watch courses in disc golf.
I’ll never forget spending many USDGC’s on tee one with you!!! You will be incredibly missed on the tee dad! One helluvah run!!! Maybe I can take over for ya???😂

what a great piece of history, its too bad the USDGC has been hidden behind a pay wall and not distributed free for all to enjoy the history and love of Disc golf.
Write a big check and make it free for all of us and go from whiner to hero.
@@revpgesqredux you r missing the point, dg should remain free and accessible to everyone as it was intended.
It’s inevitable that there will be more pay to play courses especially when there is big private investment like Eagles’s Crossing. And who knows if someday people will have to pay to see post production coverage. The costs of discs have gone up substantially in the past few years.
What will not be good is if outside sponsers begin to dicatate, directly or in-directly what Disc Golf should be. We do not need to be the PGA or the NFL or the NBA. We need to remain friendly and community oriented even if that appears to some people as “small time.” It’s great if players make enough money so touring for most is not so difficult. I find it strange that Innova seems so tight with a dollar, but that seems to be the business man in Dave Dunipace. He has given a lot to the sport, but I don’t get his lack of support for Ken Climo. What is going on there? It seem like Dave wants no one more influencial at Innova than he.
As long as there are public courses that the players keep clean and take part in the upkeep. Free to play courses should be around for a long time.
