Over the past six months of the Israel-Hamas war, Lebanon has frequently been drawn into the conflict.
Asked about Israel's determination to retaliate against Iran, Mr Habib says Lebanon is worried and that "any kind of revenge is going to end up with a bigger war".
He says: "We have to work for a two-state solution" and it will be "the solution for most of the problems in the Middle East".

Israel accepted the UN partition in 1948 , the only ones who have never abided by international law is the arbs who surrounded Israel and if they have to fight for their existence why the hell should they play by international laws if the people surrounding Israel never planned on doing so even to this day?

They admit collateral damage and apologize for it.
The situation is clear. In no other conflict the responsibility for the suffering has been so one sided and clear - in no other conflict have the perpetrators been held accountable so weakly. People with voice and power who claim to reject war and the nature of war have a duty to unequivocally name the culprit of this war and do everything in their power to eliminate them. Everything else is responsibility for the resulting suffering and is as history has proved continuing this madness.

Israel vacated Gaza in 2006. That is a de facto 2-state solution. Hamas built a military base under palestinian homes, and fired 22,000 rockets into israeli homes, since then.
Nd then they put Gaza under a stringent siege, the one not seen since the St Petersburg

By destroying the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Israel broke international law and endangered world peace. Iran responded in a very balanced way by using its old drones and missiles to do little damage.
If Israel once again celebrates aggression, it will definitely be excluded from the world community.
Iran will be a far more attractive partner for the USA in the Persian Arab region than Israel.
