omg I love the cozy set up at the start! So glad to hear you loved Clytemnestra. I ate that book up last year and have been curious to get a copy for myself to annotate. YIKES on What The River Knows, I'm hoping to pick that one up next month!
Thank you!!!!! Have you read Babylonia by Costanza Casati? I really want to after reading Clytemnestra! Oh nooo don't let me stop you from reading What the River Knows!!!!!!! I was just in a weird mood when I was reading it. I definitely believe you have to be in the mood to read certain books.
I've never read The Six Deaths of the Saint but I am an Alix E. Harrow stan so I'll have to add her previous work to my TBR!!! Thank you for the recommendation and thank you for watching!!!
Loved your wrap up as always!! I’m even more excited now to read You Again! The Serpent and The Wolf sounds right up my alley and I’ve now added it to my TBR, haha. Too bad you didn’t like What the River Knows, but I get it!! It’s always hard when you build something up in your head for so long and then it doesn’t live up to your expectations. What a great reading month though, three 5-stars 😍🙌
Thank you for watching Chelsea!! The Serpent and the Wolf was just a fun book and definitely got me out of a weird slump I was in, after the back-to-back two 5-star reads from the month that we buddy read!
Hi Audrey! YES! I'm so glad you loved You, Again too! I 100% agree that the premise was so unique and the messy characters made the story perfect! I also loved the enemies to FRIENDS to lovers moment.
oooh might have to actually pick up you, again the synopsis wasn't my favourite but your overview of it sounds great :) also very excited to get to Clytemnestra. LOVED this wrap up and what a great reading month with all the 4-5 stars 😍
I really loved it because You, Again was so unique where the characters were unlikable. I hope you like it too!!!! I tend to hype things up that I'm SOOO passionate about! hahah
yyasss so here for this! I'm so glad you ended up enjoying You, Again! & I defo struggle with a third act break up, rarely does it make the story better 🥴 also kudos on the dnf's it can be hard to do! I'm worried because I have What the River Knows on my tbr oop
Thank you for watching Grace! Noooo don't let me stop you from reading What the River Knows!! Like I said, I was just not in the right mindset maybe to read it which is where my rating came from!
You, Again 5⭐?? Now I CANNOT WAIT to read it. It's in my Kindle right now from Libby 🤩 I love slowburn, enemies-to-lovers, and banter! I do find that a lot of romance books feel the need to have a 3rd act conflict and I really hate it. 🥴 I do love that you loved Clytemnestra so much though! I realize after reflecting that the way I like my Greek retellings is a little bit different so I felt like Clytemnestra really lacked what I enjoy from retellings for me 😅 Eg, I really wish we got to see more of her ruling the country and how she gained her people's trust. (about Bright Young Women) Yes!! I remember when the movie? TV show came out about, and people were just glamorizing them. Even recently with a court case involving criminals who look "attractive". I think the media focuses too much on the perpetuate and not the victims, and Knoll's work might be trying to spin the focus off of them for once. I'll definitely make a note to listen to it as an audiobook instead of the book instead! 3 five star is awesome though!!
OOOOH I hope you love You, Again and I don't lead you astray!!!! I agree with the 3rd act conflicts. I'm so glad we read Clytemnestra. I can't wait to hear your review. I agree about glamorizing criminals. The more I think about it, the creepier it is!!!!
the cosiest set up on booktube 😍
Thank you so much for watching!!!!! I am so happy about my set up so I appreciate you noticing!

Mansi, Hi!!! If you end up reading Flirting with Disaster, I'd love your thoughts. THANK YOU! I'm really proud of my intro!!!
Oh, I'm checking out Starling House for sure! Alix E. Harrow wrote one of my all time favorite short stories, The Six Deaths of the Saint 🙌🏾
I've never read The Six Deaths of the Saint but I am an Alix E. Harrow stan so I'll have to add her previous work to my TBR!!! Thank you for the recommendation and thank you for watching!!!

I loved You, Again also!! It was such a cool initial premise and I liked how flawed/real the characters felt!
