The Pike factory

Fishing Zealand has produced this film, which shows how to build a so-called "pike factory". In the film we explain what a "pike factory" is. The pike population is not what it used to be and one of the reasons are the lack of suitable breeding grounds in recent years. In this film we have talked to experts like biologists, anglers, environmentalists, researchers as well as landowners who all agre that the way forward is to help the pike population building and restore suitable breeding grounds - the pike factories.
The mission of CATCH is to promote recreational angling through better information, target-oriented marketing and close cooperation between tourist offices, communes, angling associations and professional fishermen.
