I've often liked just a little bit more blade in my medium SAKs and used an old style German Army knife for this for years. The Alox Farmer took over nicely as my Victorinox GAK has been semi retired (hard to replace). I like hearing peoples reasons behind the actual choice of SAK they've made, even if it's the same knife doesn't mean it was chosen for the same reason.
Welcome. I am a bit overwhelmed at the number of views some of these videos are getting. I seriously expected only about 10 - 20 since I posted 4 days ago. Anyway, I think there are many underrated, or just plain unknown, knives and tools that many people would like if they only knew how good they really are. Anyway, many thanks for watching and subbing.
Came for the knife review, stayed for the finger amputation story.
Thanks for sharing an actual usage review of your gear 👍
You are quite welcome. Thanks for commenting. Take care.

Great review. Using the knife for hook screws, brilliant!
Many thanks.
It is an awesome piece. I have Alox Farmer and it really feels solid. :)
Good to know! Thank you.
Excellent review!!
Thank you for watching and the compliment. Take care.
Tip: The nail file tip will work on the recessed philips head screw
True. Thanks for sharing.
Great , thank you very much , I got a silver alox cadet , really nice knife .
Super. Thank you
I use the tip of the nail file as a longer reach but less durable Phillips driver.
That sounds like a good idea. Thank you for watching and commenting.
The lack of an awl is a deal breaker for me. It’s otherwise a fantastic knife. 👍
Thank you.
new sub, old guy here too😁
