The leather bag is not for entrenching tools, it is mg42 spare and repair kit, and the cloth in front, is asbest cloth for changing hot barrel. I carried this gun in the danish army.

What bothers me about this otherwise well-made figure is that the soldier is smiling. In the famous photo, this man looks as if he is exhausted from the exertions.
