Morning Jim , Dave and Pirate Mike, Daniel, Brad
Thank You 👍
Jim got Gold and Silver. I didn’t. Ha ha. 😂 great video and shot of that vapor trail. Always fun buddy. 🏴☠️🙂
Thank You 👍
i like the way you do your channel
Congrats on your first Gold with the DeusII. I think you will learn to love it it's super informative and will have you digging a lot less deep iron. Took me awhile to trust what it was telling me but like you said adjusting the tones to your liking and the settings to your conditions will prove to be invaluable. Also you can run both the headphones and speaker at the same time for your videos.👍 ATB 🦀
Thank You 👍
Hi Jim🙂When you met Daniel, was he Monterey Magnet Man? You two are awesome. Hi to Robert and Mike. Thank you for keeping the beaches clean 🔍🙂
Hi Jim!! A good machine a good crew around and good targets too!!Congratulations and waiting for the next one. 👌👋
Thank You 👍
Can't wait to see how the new machine works with the black sand! Good to see Haley without her bandages/splint. How old is she now? For the wydi, I'm guessing gold earring since it's the focus of today's hunt. Went out yesterday for the last time until Spring. Ground was frozen, so digging anything was a big chore! You'll need to step up for those of us on the frozen tundra now.
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Hi 👋🏻 there Jim I am going to guess silver ring. Have a wonderful week and a beautiful Christmas with your family. Nice hunt! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Great to see Haley!!
Thank You 👍
Hey Jim, great video and beautiful day at the beach and so wonderful to see Haley walking around without a cast I would dig it and I’m gonna say it’s a nickel
Roxanne Mick
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Also, thanks for pointing out how much work being a content creator can be. Daniel, aka, Monterey Magnet Man puts out a lot of content and it must take up a lot of time!
Thank you 🤙
Hi Jim..ok I’m guessing a dime this time..have a wonderful weekend! 😊
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
I like to dig gold too! Thank you Jim.
Awesome, Thank You 👍
Great finds Jim.
Thank You 👍
Good luck with the deus 2 , yes I would dig that gold ring...
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Congrats to the winners, great GAW. Creating content is time consuming. Shorts take 20-40 minutes, longs 4-8+ hours, crazy. I think its a gold class ring.
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
The item at 23:37 could be a hat pin.
Yes, I would dig it.
A silver earring
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
I think it’s a aluminum screw top pop cap. Hopefully some day I’ll win a would you dig it. Lol. It’s strange how the numbers on my machine differ from yours. I’m from Galveston Texas and when I went to Florida they were different also. I’m thinking mineralization in the ground. Thanks for all your great videos and hard work. I brag on you all the time with my detecting crew.
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍 It is very true the mineralized soil creates target differences, I get that on different beaches based on the type of minerals in the sand.
Hi Jim, great to see Hayley with no cast!!! Tell her to take it easy!I think that this week's dig it is a gold ring!
that is a fantastic answer, Thank you 🤙
That weird looking "tent stake" looks like a hair pin, but it appears like it to be too heavy for that.
Thank You 👍
Hey Jim, it is so great to see Haley walking around without a cast❤. If the fancy tent stake is hollow it might possibly be a vintage cigarette holder. I would grumble but still dig that dime
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
It's called a chemtrail.
Jim, learn pitch tones that is the secret weapon of that machine especially in the black sand. To dig less targets and hit on more coins notch out lower signals up to 70 that will killpull tabs bottlecaps etc but it kills the gold some what. LEAVING THE NOTCH OUT, you have to play it by ear and like you said the gold has a weird sound with it. That is why pitch is really good to use it hammers targets out. And less likely to miss the gold.
Thank You 👍
Yes I would dig that wheat cent.
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Half dollar....Haleys looking so good Jim, how long b4 shes done with healing for the surgery?
She has a bit of bone growth that needs to happen but I think by spring we will be on long walks again. great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
That would be a Penny Jim thanks for the great video
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Just south of the San Onifre Dolly Parton Monument is a beach called Red beach. Used by the Marines as an amphibious landing beach. As an infantryman I've stormed that beach a ton of times. On one of my first times, I found a Kbar fighting knifes. On my last, I lost my buck knife. I still have the Kbar and the memories.
Thank You 👍
Nice hunt with all the friends Jim! I haven’t been to the Trussell in a couple years been too busy with work ugh. Thanks for sharing
Thank You 👍
Thanks Jim. Could it be a silver dime.
? Maybe a Mercury
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Glad you found gold so soon with your Deus👍
Yep, those last would you dig it targets were tricky.
For this week's would you dig it, my guess is a junk ring / copper ring.
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Penny😊 Hailey's looking great without her cast!! Missed last 2 vids over the holidays. They were good items for the "would you dig it 7" contest🎉😊❤
Thank You 👍
Thanks for another great video Jim! Hayley is so amazing! Yes I would dig that gold earring
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
That almost looks lije an antique hat pin.
Thank You 👍
Hello Jim, You did good on the treasure finds this time. I hope you and your family has an awesome Holiday season. Halley is looking so good without the cast. It won't be long before she'll be running. My WYDI guess is going to be a clad quarter. Have a blessed day and enjoy your life. Life is too short to not.
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Oohhh… no. That’s not a knoif. Now, here. That’s a knoif.

How you finding the deus vs the nox?
I need more time with the deus before I comment, the Nox is hard to beat but the guys at XP are actually helping me with programming that should handle the black sand conditions, something Minelab has never done for me. But until our beaches become better and the black sands show back up I am not going to comment on deus vs nox. Thank You 👍
Nice to see all the crew detecting penny
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Thanks for the video!
Awesome video Jim love how you explain everything. Keep up the good work.
Thank You 👍
Hey Daniel

Hi Jim..im curious..You said it's cold in November?? So being in California November winter there is what temperature?
It’s about 65° 😂
@@MontereyMagnetMan YO!! Winter in LEOMA Tennessee. 65°be extremely pleasant compared to our temps here of 28-32° love to come meet all you guys and do a beach hunt on a 65° day... I'm actually going to a 3acre property this Saturday of where a deceased elder has reportedly buried apoxly 3 coffee cans full of money... Y'all keep up the awesome videos bro!!
It was 53* early this morning, but 72* in the afternoon. But where I live it is 72* year round on average.
Maybe a copper penny.
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Great finds Jim!!! I think I would dig that dime!!!!
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Yay! No cast for Haley. She looks so happy. I would totally dig that war nickle.
that is a fantastic answer, Thank you 🤙
Buck 110? I have one that must be forty years old, before they rounded the edges. I wonder if they will restore or replace it for you.
Thank You 👍 I won't be turning it into buck but I will try to remove the rust and refurbish it the best I can.
wow xp deus ii,, who are you and what did you do with jim
XP is really trying to promote their equipment, they sent me a whole kit of items to play with and they are helping program it to help with the black sands. I just need the beach conditions to change so I can test the Deus ii on those black sands.
WYDI-silver ring. Thanks for all your hard work and long hours, I really enjoy your videos.
Thank You 👍
Gold hoop
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
It’s a penny. Yay Haley keep on trucking!

great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Copper Penny
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Well Jim that WAS a long day. However i don’t feel bad for you at all after the hunt you had a few vids back and finding what was it , 6-7 gold rings on top of some silver 😂 also you produced quite a bit of coin this trip out. Good stuff 👍🏼😁
You have to take the good with the bad, I hunted this morning for 5 hours in the cold for only a few coins. ugh! Thank You 👍
@@funwithjim boy don’t i know that. I am happy when i can pull 3$ or over in change out here. Finding jewelry is rare and when i do find some it’s usually junk. I would be lying if i said i didn’t want to do as well as you fellas over in Orange County. But I’m happy to be out there detecting at all. I have my health back and that’s like being a rich man !! Keep crushing it over there 👍🏼😁
If the bat quarter was minted at WestPoint, it's worth more then a quarter. Going with stainless steel ring
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
That’s a pretty solid 24 on the Nox 800. I’m guessing a gold bracelet.
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Great beach hunt I would dig the zinc penny
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
It's great to see Haley out of her cast. For the wydi, I'll say its a wheat penny
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
You must have dug up hundreds of dollars in loose change over the years!!
Yes, I used to dig up a new car every 5 to 6 years but price of vehicles have sky rocketed.
Jim, what's your opinion of the Deus II thus far?
I think I need more hours with it and trying it when the conditions are better for detecting, most of our beaches are sanded in and I am trying my best to find good locations but without good swells and currents no sand is moving enough to make it good. So my opinion is I like it and I like the ability to adjust settings and customize but until I get those black sand conditions I really am avoiding giving my opinion on it. Thank You 👍
Spoken like a true beach hunter. Please keep us all posted, Jim.
Nickel
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Dang, my record was 3 class rings in 1 week from the same hammered park , but dang you guys get Ounces out there
bracelet

Today's dig it is a dime? PS congrats on Haylies improvement...I trust she's not in pain.🙏🕊️☝️
She just wants to go, no sign of any pain. She is doing really good but she still needs to be gentle with her movements for a while. Thank You 👍
Nice hunt Jim zinc penny
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
I’m digging that dime.👍
great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
3rd try to comment: As good as the Deus may be, I hope you stick with Minelabs as your primary machines. As a Nox 600 & Manticore owner, I enjoy & learn from your VDI/tones for stuff I might not dig. 🤪
I really want to try the Deus 2 on the black sands but the conditions have been awful for detecting, but I have no plans on giving up my NOX until the Deus 2 proves it self worthy. I need more time with it before I make any decision. What I like is the XP is providing me with support and R&D has help me set up programs to handle the black sands, something Minelab has never done for me.
@@funwithjim - understand completely. I've heard that Minelab is only good for sales & warranty service. I've been lucky since my detectors are dealer-bought, easy to use and so far, problem-free.

I would dig that wheat penny!
