If you don’t have a beard, now is a good time to start. No shave November a way to embrace our hair which a lot of cancer patients loose. This is a time to bring awareness to cancer.
Greg, you are an inspiration. I turned 60 a couple months ago, and I finally decided to let my beard grow and see what I could achieve. I'm actually amazed at my progress because I was always sporting just a scruffy look at best since my 20's. You've inspired me to explore my options and expand my horizons ... Thank You!
Happy Birthday Greg! With the education i get from beardbrand and the pandemic forcing me to Work from home, I’m currently growing the fullest, healthiest beard of my life!
As a guy that was really hairy really early on in life. I always felt self conscious about it as a kid and got picked on for it and called Jesus or homeless or Charles manson or terrorist or hippie, that last one I didn't mind so much though. None the less this fellows tips and tricks for us Sasquatch's has really helped me out looks wise, and that's coming from the women in my life. I'm not a very image conscious person I won't lie. My father was a stoic solemn man and now I look in the mirror and basically see his image, or a shell of it perhaps, we never got to talk much but watching this fellow embrace the gentle side of things makes me proud to be a hairy Viking once more. I suppose I've had enough beer now and I should get something to eat but I just wanted to say thank you for reassuring me and giving me a self help guide to some desperately needed confidence and morale. I miss my father and nothing will ever replace him but you reminded me of his lighter side in the best of ways. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart sir, much love from the U.K.

Great tips. I have been following the “Berzinsky” method and using Beard Brand products for years. Might have to make a beard care video on my own channel soon.
Until a few yrs ago i couldn't grow a beard, after i turned 52 my facial hair (exploded) covering my entire face the same time my skin started blotching, not complaining though, the winter is less cold now.
A young Greg Berzinsky, Daniel Day-Lewis and Justin Trudeau all look alike lol. Tall lankier build, dark hair, thick eyebrows and strong facial features like the nose, eyes and eyebrow ridge. Very handsome
Will presented video you have inspired me to keep my beard longer than 5 weeks because I usually shave it off at this time and go clean shaven for a couple of weeks then grow it back again. My patchy part is where my left sideburn meets my hairline the right side is OK. That’s probably why I don’t grow sideburns when I’m clean shaven my sideburns don’t here symmetry and one is thicker than the other.
Awesome video. I've been using the sea salt spray and it's made a huge difference in the texture of my beard and the weight. I recommend beard brand to all my friends.
I have male pattern baldness. I use to use keeps. Had an online doctor tell me that I need to buy their products. Of course I did. I tried minoxidil and finastride medicine. These two just irritated my scalp badly. So I stopped using and left keeps. I have enough hair now and my scalp itches less.
This video help me out a lot, my cheeks was burning an skin was flakey under beard. I use coco nut oil an now I think it was a bad idea so I had to shave off my six month old beard. That’s the longest I’ve grown it in my life.
Greg Berzinsky I’m currently on hair day 21 and the only problem washing wise is my hair sticking to itself and tangling more than usual because of some hair spray from 6 days ago, and I’m going to wash it soon and probably tomorrow. Mon/11/02/2020 21:37 EDT
Hi Greg, when growing into a longer beard, I tend to comb back at a downward motion kind of towards the bottom of jaw corner. The question I have is now how to approach trimming the back line now that the beard has more length? Should I be combing down and cleaning up the backline or if since I’m combing back a bit, should I be trimming with it combed back? My worry is that if I comb back and trim, I’ll lose some of the bulk in the cheeks but at the same time if I trim with only brushed straight down, I won’t be satisfied.
I wouldn't trim the goatee, and let the beard grow. The goatee chin area of your beard will grow faster anyway, and you will have a baseline for when you get a barber trim later down the road. Just my opinion. I started with a goatee as well. Stay safe out there!🧔
5:18 But then it would just get closer to looking like a chinstrap because instead of having a slight amount of hair further up, you wouldn’t have any hair further up, and it wouldn’t look thicker either, but rather just the thin hairs replaced with no hairs and then more of a disconnect to regular hair thickness.
The only plus side I can get out of it is I can be lazy some days lol I usually wash every other day or 2 days then brush it out with a heat brush. Lol
Hey Greg! Not sure if you mentioned this, but what age were you roughly when you discovered that you had good coverage in order to grow out a beard? Thanks in advance!
Funnily, I learned the Berzinsky method after watching my sisters use the hair dryer for their curly hair. For me, if I don't use the hair dryer, my beard looks like a curly mess. And Feliz Cumpleaños.
My bottom lip only grows the soul patch, and random hairs over the rest, so I end up trimming those random hairs. The only patchy area that I have is two spots in top of my mustache. Extremely annoying, but can't make it grow.
Honestly, I don't think I would have as much facial hair as I have now in my mid 30's if I didn't just let everything grow even when it didn't entirely connect. It's probably just in my head and happened naturally but either way I'd give it a shot.
@@BerzinskyRules i honestly am i huge fan ❤️❤️❤️and never thought I’ll get a reply thanks so much ✌️✌️✌️✌️I’m through my first month of growth and will complete 60 days end of November. So I’m being patient with it.
I just turned 30 in September and until about a year and a half ago my facial hair was the same since I was about 19, I tried to grow it when I was 28 and I lasted 2 months, I started over and it filled in quicker and more fully ONLY after trying to grow it for months without any trimming and I lasted 3 months, started over and on my 3rd try I lasted 6 months to the day while 29 years old, I've been growing it again since my 30th and I noticed my cheeks are definitely filling in more completely and the longer you go without shaving the more you will also see bald spots filling it slowly but surely, this time I'm going to try and make it 9-12 months before shaving again and see where it gets me.
Greg, here's a big one: My skin gets super dry underneath, falls like snow on my clothes etc. I used oils, beard shampoos, creams - nothing helps. Any suggestions on how to make my skin way more hydrated? Thanks
Head and shoulders 2 in 1 and then get some oil. Work it in after towel dry and don't play with it or scratch it if you're wearing dark clothes. I have the same problem too.
Quality oils, without bells and whistles, and sometimes scents work well. Be sure to apply the beard oil to your skin, not the actual beard. Boar bristle brush often. Also, try scruff cream. Rub into your face skin like lotion. Don't sleep on beard wash. Do not use standard shampoo on your beard.
It is fine to use Head and Shoulders to stop flaking though. I've used it at times. Just don't wash with it daily, and try to acquire some beard shampoo. Beard conditioner will help as well, but isn't necessary.
I would have to disagree with taking the cheek line down. Just leave it honestly. Longer you grow your beard out those “patches” will fill in. I have thin cheeks for the first say 3 months but I’m at a year now and you would never call my cheeks thin. I’d agree taking them down if you have let it a considerable amount of time but waiting a few months then taking your cheeks right down is a big mistake IMO.
Hi, i have a very dense beard which grows at the rate of one inch per month. I have some beard hairs that grow from the same folicule. Is that common? I'm 58
