- In this video I'll show you how to get "Red Flag", "Within Scope" & "Within A Broader Scope" challenges, during the mission "Chasing A Ghost" from Mumbai location.
● Red Flag (Raise the flag from a distance)
● Within Scope (Shoot and eliminate any target with a sniper rifle from the outlook post near the beach)
● Within A Broader Scope (Shoot and eliminate all three with a sniper rifle from the outlook post near the beach)

It was a programming oversight but any brick will change the smoke color to purple. Also you can drop the brick into the unattended crucible. No need to distract the metal worker.
everytime I load my save right before I climb the tower, I kill the first two, then agents come and swarm the bottom of the torrie and NEVER leave, as if they know I'm there, and then the third guy never comes... wtf lol

What i ended up doing was, taking out the 2 dudes by the flag and then raising the flag, thereby allowing Diana to recognize the Maelstrom, then i walked all the way to the place where youre supposed to snipe and sniped the Maelstrom, before walking back and triggering the purple smoke and then going back to the spot and sniping Vanya and Dawood
Its a glitch. Everytime i snipe a target/NPCs with silenced sniper rifle, with other NPC/guards witnessing the event, they will somehow able to pinpoint your location miles away. Should you not quickly relocate, you will be trapped in your sniping position with swarm of guards pointing their guns on you (if you press the instinct button, their profiles are still neutral gray not orange-which indicate your cover is already blown away/compromised). And yes, these swarm of guards WILL NOT leave
I already got silent assassin so I gave a fuck. After killing the first two just killed every guard nearby, by that time the Maelstrom was in the den below (had to killed one of his security guards to make him go down there). With no guards arounds, and giving a fuck about any other by killing them, went there to knock him out and drag him to where I can snipe him from the sniping point. :\

If you don't have a silent sniper rifle, I suggested that you should finish the escalated mission in Marrakesh, and then you'll get a sieger 300 ghost , this sniper rifle is the best rifle in the game which is hitman2
Also can get mastery level 20 in Hokkaido to unlock the sniper.
Why bother? You get a free one fron the kashmirian.

Sweet, but I can never get Diana to identify the Maelstrom for me. I’m playing on the casual setting.

I think you have to complete the mission once for her to automatically identify the Maelstrom. The Freedom Fighters mission in Colorado does something similar, at least in 2 and 3: if you complete the mission once, you don't have to leave via the tornado shelter. I'll report back once I've tested my theory.
Update: I was wrong, didn't have to play through the entire mission. For some reason, starting at the main street works, but starting at the boat does not. Maybe because of the timing of raising the flag?
The guy always goes to drink tea with that lady on the hill. There is no one else who does. No need for Diana to tell you.
