The 26th Annual BMO Harris Bank Magnificent Mile Lights Festival!

The BMO Harris Bank Magnificent Mile Lights Festival® invites visitors to two days of free, family fun to celebrate the start of the holiday season-November 17 & 18-culminating in an unforgettable tree-lighting parade.
On Saturday evening, November 18, grand marshals Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse from Walt Disney World® Resort help illuminate more than one million lights along The Magnificent Mile, from Oak Street to the Chicago River!

when my daughter was little she use to go to this fun event with her aunt and uncle she told me it just isn't the same the way she use to remember it she remembers watching a green lasers show, seeing pale yellow reindeer in a store window Rafiki the old Viacom store fao sweets
the old toy store and she even saw bozo the clown speaking on a radio show while looking in the window, she thinks to her self oh wow!!!! do they still even make the ice sculptures anymore?? she really misses the old traditions of the magnificent mile lights festival when she was a girl herself back then when the parking was free there use to be free food in some buildings , when there was a looney tunes store and Disney store and when there was the red gnome character near the water tower passing out coloring books to the kids with a story typed inside , and when the pens shaped like candy canes smelled like peppermint ink !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the weather was medium cold there were tons of free stuff in booths , the spot where the Disney shows were held were alway's packed and filled to the brim with lots and lots of surprises not to mention excitement , would someone maybe please post the old old showings of the magnificent mile lights festival the ones she remembered on you tube with bozo and ect. . she's really into the old stuff
