When she sang the pre chorus, 'I'm angry at myself for being foolish, That's why my tears won't stop,' you can feel her frustration in her voice and see it in her body language. And when she hit that high note and did her little breath-hitching at the end (which she is so good at), it was breathtaking. It was not a winning piece by any means but she still won me (alongside a number of judges).

Ya'll got to know the reason why she didn't proceed was because of the song she selected. This song was a risky song because it isn't as popular. Popular song tend to do more well in these shows. Not BSing this... Hyorin was even warned to not do this song due to the possibility of her being eliminated.

If I'm not mistaken she actually chose a song where her voice is not easily recognizable. I've heard many many many of her performances and this is definitely not her normal singing range. So if it sounds like she's forcing anything--it's highly likely because...well...reason for this show is to show your vocal talent while taking popularity and fame out of the equation so voting is fair. Her normal singing voice is EASILY distinguished so I'm 99% sure she's trying to mask her voice.
