Amen! Let's have this discussion again after the 10th thunderstorm and lightning delay at Eastlake for the Tour Championship in August
You got the two tournaments in Hawaii in January, play one or two tourney's in Mexico following it (Cabo and Mexico City). Move the Puerto Rico tournament to Feb., as well as the Punta de Corales event and then go to Cali and Arizona before the Florida swing.
Pebble Beach certainly isn't helped by being in February. Even if it doesn't get rained out, the weather can be pretty brutal. The timing really wastes one of the great golf courses in the world.
Like the idea of using Pebble and Riviera for the FedEx. The Memphis course is pretty much a nothingburger. And the artist formerly known as the Western Open (BMW) gets a pretty mixed bag of courses.
I love the idea to move the west coast swing but I’m curious why suggest Chambers Bay? Riviera and Pebble are so incredible and Chambers just isn’t good.
The PGA tour has a Jay Monahan problem. He has single handedly pushed so many people away from even giving a shit about the PGA tour now. I don’t think I’ve watched more than 1 hour of the tour this year, I don’t even know why this season matters. We only watch the majors now.
