Be an Inspired Gamer... could you perhaps make a video like the uncharted video on Nate.(5 rules of life kratos).or what I think will get the view up maybe title the video (lessons we learned from Kratos in god of war) something like that, the reason I say it would get the views up is because, I've been seeing lots of videos that have titles like, revisiting assassins creed and others and their getting lots of views. Anyway would love to see it. I've watched all your videos love them, never stop posting.

When Kratos anwsers "Yes... i know." when Atreus says it feels good to be strong, the performance is incredible. The voice somewhere between "I know how good it can feel" and "I know what I lost to it", it's a perfect reflection of his past, and that's just in the way Christopher Judge says it.

the greek mythos world, sorry i'm not too sure, maybe more of regretting going so far instead of accepting killing ares was enough. only the creator could say for sure though.
Just wanna clarify when I said greek mythos world, it was confirmed I think 4-5 years back that the realms of the gods aren't on the same planet otherwise midgard would be quite a wasteland in Atreus' time.

E.g: "Keep your expectation low and you will never be disapointed" He expected glory when served under Ares only to get tragedy, he expected the gods would rid him of the nightmare of his sin, they only forgived his sin(pointless), He expected sacrifcing Pandora would give him the power to kill Zeus, it already inside him so she died for nothing

Kratos actually did push Atreus when they were on the top of the mountain where they met mimir, right as the second fight with baldur started and destroyed the gates that should have led them to jotunheim, it showed that Kratos did slightly lose control by pushing his son away, which he instantly felt sorry for, but he got shot by a shocking arrow on his chest, by his own son lol. Which is a slight detail that even Kratos hasn’t fully managed to control himself

    • @cwoherem
      @cwoherem 2 роки тому +2

@@giagarex I doubt it is due to that, around the world holds different view points about physical discipline, in the west it is considered almost close to against the law for doing that, whereas places elsewhere it is more normalized and not considered immoral but appropriate when necessary. Point is that there's no right or wrong, so Kratos really shouldnt be seen as bad if he chooses to hit his child.
Putting that aside, there can be a perfectly good reason Kratos doesn't physically discipline his child, and this is not to do with the story or the character, its more to do with outside politics, considering the game is targeted mostly to the western audience, they maybe dont want to show 'child abuse' in a game and so they chose to omit it, when if we are talking about it realistically, during such periods ( old eras), kids getting discipline was very common and accepted, making it likely that Kratos would resort to such actions if Santa Monica chose to be brutally honest. Besides, a sign of that was implied when Kratos and Atreus argued after Atreus killed Modi, Kratos got so angry he said to his son, 'Dont push me boy', which could imply Kratos would of resorted to physically disciplining him.

The line from 17:04 to 17:17 hits me hard every time. Life is difficult sometimes and we have to fight to survive it. The idea of the Warrior isn't one for me of one that has physical prowess or might in combat. Warriors true battles are fought in their mind with their heart, to me that is what makes a Warrior.
This is one of the most beautiful quotes amongst many in the game, but this one here is special to me. As someone who suffers from mental illness this quote brings out the best in me and makes me strive to become the best possible and truest form of myself.
So far Dark Souls lore, this and the song Illusion I first heard in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice have stuck with me since and will be my personal favorites to the end of time.
I thank whatever writer or whoever put this line in there, they were words I needed to hear that I would've never known I wanted. Also thank you Christopher Judge for the incredible performance and delivery of this quote, it makes me want to bearhug the shit outta him.

Being completely honest with you, You're right. I am a person that has gone through many struggles in his life yet I've stood defiant even when my willpower and confidence began to faint I tried to keep going, expecting the worst. Now that I have more experience those words Kratos bequested to Atreus were not only touching but also a moral lesson I can relate to. Like you said in your comment, there are multiple types of warrios, those who wage their battles physically and those who wage countless mental battles. In life, most of our battles tend to be of the latter, but it is indeed a necessary mindset for some people that could not keep going otherwise. I thank you for leaving this insightful comment in the section, you deserve find your peace and reach your goals, I'm sure you'll rule your demons and conquer your path in life.

“But Atreus of Sparta was unlike the rest of us. He wore a smile even in the worst of times, he was happy. He inspired us to hope that though we were machines of war, yet there was humanity in us. Goodness. When the day came for him to lay down his life in battle, his sacrifice saved countless others and turned the tide in our favor. I carried him home on his shield and buried him with all the honors of Spartan custom.
His memory was a comfort in dark times.” - Kratos, the God of War.
Be more like Atreus. A rising tide raises *all* ships. Never just one. If you aren’t one of the ships, then be the tide itself. Do this, and you will always be happy, always satisfied, because you’ll be using your best to bring out the best in others. Never falter on your journey in this life, never waver on the path of love and understanding, you must stay true to who you are because at the end of the day when you lay down to sleep, it might be the last time you ever wake up again. So don’t take this life for granted, go love someone, it doesn’t matter if it’s your friends or your family, even the cutie you’re too afraid to ask “what’s up?”. And when you fight, don’t do it to destroy what’s in front of you, fight to protect what’s behind you. You will feel the love give you more strength than any amount of hate could possibly give you. Love yourself, love those both close to and far from you. This life is too short for hatred and words unspoken.

8:45 this section is especially cool because if you understand biblical history, the events of the games are plausible actually. The gods of all the mythologies around the world all originate from the Angels that chose to betray the Creator, they had demigod children with human women and thus began the most tumultuous and chaotic time in human history. And it's gone completely unacknowledged as if people are crazy. It even calls them the heroes of legend and men of renown.
That means the mythical heroes like Hercules and the like. The book of Enoch tells us that God and the angles incited the demigods on earth to war with each other while the evil angelic fathers were forced to watch as punishment for ruining the ancient world. Many of their progeny were superhuman demigods, and many were supergiants. They also made monsters by taking animals through miscegenation according to the book of giants also found in the dead sea scrolls. The war of the gods fits in line with the clash of the titans and ragnarok in Norse myth, especially since ragnarok ends with the world being destroyed in a cataclysmic flood. Sound familar? It's no coincidence

Love what your doing with the channel, such a good idea I thought of doing something Similar myself so I'm very glad others had the same idea. Keep up the amazing work you are helping people! Have you considered doing more god of war videos? Or red dead redemption? What about focusing on other characters? I am extremely interested so please get back to me

At first I was thinking the same that it’s loki, but after playing the game a couple of times I realized that we come across magni (or moodi I forgot the name) so what of that was thor beating the crap out of him. It makes more sense to me

Fun fact Kratos is an actual minor god in Greek culture he's was connected to the god of war. In the sense he represented strength and victory(usually some kind of battle or fight, War being a regular thing for Greece. So you could almost call him Kratos the Strong, or my personal favorite nickname. Kratos the Victorious.

However we are made in his image are we not? Perhaps it means we are our own gods. Not trying to sound blasphemous. In the sense our "instincts" are his. Our "gut" feeling. Never rely on a story or fairytale. Trust what you see and know. As we are made in his image, his wisdom is something we can also learn. Especially when we know and understand each other better.
