Had a great weekend! I took my son and his lady to dinner Friday night, then went to a comedy ‘musical’ at his college. He’s a ‘mature’ student haven gone back working on becoming a ‘Music Therapist’. So he’s very involved with the music & arts Departments besides his regular academics. Today, Sunday they took me to brunch. I had car troubles in April too. My transmission started sounding like the ‘car’ from the old cartoon ‘The Jetsons’. My mechanic delicately informed me that they we giving me a ride home. Aka he had no idea how I managed to run an errand and drive to his shop.
Long story shortened, I have a 2008 Versa that I always took care of. 92,000 miles, good condition in these 14 odd years I’ve kept up with good maintenance and this is the first $$$$ I’ve put in besides tires, breaks, oil, etc. so the $3,900 for a guaranteed new transmission is a good investment. Fixing in this day and age is usually worth it , price of ‘new’ vehicles is outrageous.

We are still classifying everything out. 1 thing Bob does is clean out the dredge every 15 minutes and I'm not use to that as I run it for 1-2 hours then do a cleanout. He swears by it but end up with 10x the amount of pay dirt. 😬😎👍
