I had started your Quick & Easy Chunky Knit Scarf then I was notified of this one and well needless to say I am now working two at the same time lol. Thanks!
Thank you so much for sharing this. Have knitted 3 scarves and enjoyed making them, generally I tend to get bored while knitting. Garterr stitch scarves, but with this ididn't get bored. Thank you once again so much for all the videos that you have shared
I subscribed to your site. I love your ideas. Really do! Could u slow down a bit? I don't want to slow u down in settings, rather ask u outright. Remember to be detailed in how you knit, as I knit Eastern knit, I have to look for patterns that are Eastern friendly. I absolutely think its a cleaner look. Anyway, I am glad I found you and please share a bit about yourself generally. Where are you located, etc. You are a wonderful color matcher!
Hi! Glad you find the videos useful, I try to film my work at a speed that caters to as many levels as possible and those that want it slower / faster can use the speed up or slow down feature UA-cam provides 🙂
I've started my second scarf now. My current project is a standard garter stitch to start. I wanted it to transition into this diagonal pattern. I can't seem to find out how to start this pattern when I already have 21 stitches cast on. Is there any way I can transition between the horizontal garter to the diagonal garter? Maybe using increases and decreases in each row while using a 3rd needle or something.

You are so welcome! 🧶😀
I just wanted to tell you thank you for such a wonderful tutorial. I made a shawl using your pattern and it was lovely.
You’re welcome!
Thanks! Also makes a fab rectangular wrap making it wider, of course.
Great idea! 🥰
Thank you ❤
You explain it so well, I am not a continental knitter but an English thrower but I can understand the process
Thank you for sharing 😀🇬🇧
Thanks for this tutorial! I love this for a scarf. I'm in the middle of my third scarf using this pattern. Easy and lots of fun!

Could you do this same concept for a rectangle shawl?
Yes! Just take it wider to make it shawl sized
great

I’m honestly not sure, you’d need to experiment.
How long do you normally do before decreasing? Thanks
Pretty much until the scarf is the length you want, maybe about 2m?
@SnufflebeanYarn thank you 😊 I'm just starting one now 🥰
How much DK yarn would you say you’d approximately need for a scarf?
2 or 3 balls? It depends on how long you want it
Thank you!☺️
Is that finished scarf done with red heart retro stripes?
Yes :)
@@SnufflebeanYarn may I ask how many skeins of red heart retro strips you used for that scarf?
I used 2 :)
