Welch ein Seelenfrieden liegt in diesem Gesang Möge uns der Frieden erhalten bleiben. Ewige Freundschaft zwischen Deutschland und Russland
Gerne. Aber der Frieden wird zerstört durch einen brutalen Scheinheiligen, namens Wladimir Putin. Ein scheinheiliger Massenmörder der in der russisch-orthodoxen Kirche nichts verloren hat.

But when listening to the Russian Orthodox chant which I thoroughly enjoy…..It also makes me feel ashamed to think what some humans are like on this planet !! Don’t get me wrong we are all guilty of lot’s of things good and bad. Happy Christmas or good wishes to whatever you good people out there believe in.

This beautiful Cherubic Hymn was written by Dimitry Bortniansky and is a part of the Orthodox Liturgy sung during the sanctification of the Holy Gifts and blessing of the Communion. It is sung by Orthodox Churches throughout the world.

Mistaking the pleasure of the senses to the passion of the heart, people seem to feel more comfortable with this ''western-like'' kind of choral chants than the original ancient scales that lead the greek orthodox byzantine ways of prying by chanting instead of chanting for praying.
Here is an example of the differense of culture and art about the same thing: Praising the Lord!

The Hymn was composed by Bortiansky and is sung in not only the Russian Orthodox Church but also in the Greek Orthodox Church. It is a very moving and powerful hymn and speaks of the Cherubim and the Glory of God.

Gerd Höllerich, der als Sänger Roy Black in Deutschland sehr berühmt war und auch heute noch viele Fans hat, liebte privat solche Musik sehr. Er war auch an allem, was mit Russland zu tun hat, sehr interessiert. Ich glaube auch, dieses Video zu den Chorgesängen... das hätte ihm sehr gut gefallen.

Habe seine Biographie gelesen - er schloß sich sogar Weihnachten über einige Stunden ein und hörte "seine geliebten russischen Chöre" wie es in dem Buch hieß . Diese Gesänge , Harmonien gehen sehr tief - und Gerd empfand und litt sehr tief . . . Auf Gerd trifft es auch zu : "Wenn die russische Seele weint , sieht man ihre Tränen nicht - denn sie weint mit ihrem Herzen" (A.D.2010) .
