heres one: this year on may 15th, i was in technology class. i felt some cramps but i didn't think anything of it since it was just my second period and it was about 3-4 months after my first one. i asked to go to the bathroom since i felt so sick and i saw nothing on my underwear but once i had wiped and seen it i started freaking out and crying, i stuffed toilet paper in my underwear and started walking back to class, i cried in class but got a product from my friend. i have not gotten my period again yet but i'm hoping to soon! that's my story.

literally they come at the worst times!! i had a birthday sleepover and i started that night when everyone was starting to show up at my house, my first days are always my heaviest so my poor friends had to watch me suffer from cramps and back pains while we tried to pull an all-nighter and play some games. i literally felt so bad- but thankfully they didn’t care but they were really curios bc i was the only one there who had started. love your vids! 💕

here's my period horror story: it was my first period, june 8, 2022 and i was at a lock-in at my high school church. we basically stay there over night and try not to fall asleep. this lock-in so happened to be an initiation for incoming freshmen and a goodbye for graduating seniors. everyone gathered into the highschool room and the incoming freshmen and graduating seniors were in the middle. someone wheeled out a cart with something underneath a sheet. the sheet was pulled back and it was a BLOODY TOILET with tampons and chocolate around it. i got so nauseous because the entire time i was on my period, my blood loss made me so nauseous and even worse, it looked like my blood. i almost threw up when the incoming freshmen and graduating seniors had to drink the punch mixture inside the toilet(don't worry it was clean). the good thing is that there was an unopened crunch bar on the ground near it and so i grabbed it and split it with my best friend

when i was 12, me and my 1 year younger cousin were having a sleepover at my house, she was on her period and we were on a huge topic on periods for like a half hour, just because we had just got back from the park and noticed *brown* discharge. i needed to use the restroom again, and when i went i saw blood. it was my mom's birthday and she was on a vacation with her sisters, my dad had been saving up for her to go to california on her birthday for a few days if you were wondering (•‿•) but my mom was in a whole nother whopping state from me 😂 i ran downstairs and i had a worried face and i told my cousin what had happened, and i called my mom and started balling my eyes out 😂 she told me where the pads she had saved for me were, and i went upstairs to find them and she was sad she wasn't there, when i told my dad he didn't believe me lmao btw if you were wondering, im thirteen now, so this happened recently about 5 months ago.

I love you ruby you helped me so much with my period and I actually started to do my own research and I use a mental cup I would love for you to talk about mental cups and not just pad and tampons because not everyone uses them like me I love your video and taking your time to do your research and make these amazing videos to educate young girls on menstrual cycles❤️

My school taught nothing about puberty or periods at all, so I know how easy it is to make the panty-liner mistake on heavy days, education about puberty and periods should be mandatory!
Edit: I would like to add my parents didn't teach me anything either which really sucks, so I spent the last few years trying to learn everything I didn't know and wasn't taught. Kids in situations like I was in need that puberty education even more, sucks that it isn't mandatory.
