This is one of the most important Polish albums of all time, not just in rap. If you ask anybody from Ślask who was born in the 90s and grew up in early 2000s they know lirycs by heart of every song. You have to listen to "Archiwum Kinematografi" Paktofonika's second and the last studio album released after Magik's death. They had lots of songs that were not included on "Kinematografia"
@@eddymasreacts my friend this is the best what you could listen.. end of 90s and beginning of 2k was difficult time for polish scene and nation. These guys (especially Magic) were geniuses. The flow, this type of lyric , this sad, old style type hip-hop straight from the street , no verses separated by choruses like in freestyle.. I know in US You had a lot of bands like this but if they would born in US would be as famous as nwa… similar concept and beginning and even sad story at the end
you need to see the clip of powierzchnie tnace (with lyrics) - to truly appreciate what Focus has actually vocalised :) - it is one of the best packed line track of rap ever.
That "Popatrz... oj popatrz" you`re talking about - you heard that in WhiteWidow song, but it`s actually a classic from "Anna Jantar - Tyle słońca w całym mieście" - That`s from 1974 :)
PAKTOFONIKA for us - Polish people means the same like 2PAC or others rappers for Americans or whole world - read : LEGENDS. - respect for you Eddy for listening our the best era of HIP HOP culture. I hope you felt fire when you listen this masterpiece album made by Paktofonika Greetings brother from PL ;)

Ayo my man, I wonder have you ever watched the movie "Jesteś Bogiem", it is a story about Paktofonika and how they grew, leading all the way to Magik's death. It's from 2012 and it is basically the Polish 8 Mile. I'm not sure if you can find it with English subtitles, but I'm sure you would enjoy it 😊
Hey buddy I don't knkw if u heard about it, but there were released part 2 of this LP called archiwum kinematografii with some extra classic songs from this crew.

It's cool that you're checking out old Polish rap. Respect. But no offense, Paktofonika is overrated. Kids are into it. It's just bad. If you want real Polish rap, check out the albums: - Molesta "skandal" - Zip skład " powszedni chleb" - Pono "Hołd" - Zipera "ONFR" - Chada Pih " o nas dla was" - Pezet Non " Muzyka Klasyczna" I also recommend DJ 600 volt albums, these and many albums are classics of Polish rap, not commercial projects like Paktofonika.

One of my personal favourites for sure! I would love to see your reaction to that! Leaving a sub, all ther best my man!
I recommend this song *Kaliber 44 - Baku Baku to jest Skład* for your next video. A brief explanation from me regarding the lyrics of the selected song "bak" means 'fuel tank' in Polish, therefore the stanza with the addition of the letter "u" creating the expression "baku" is a figure of speech derived from the noun "bak".It is an obvious reference to smoking weed, which for the authors is like filling a tank, a tank of life's meaning. Verbs like "Bakaj" come from the aforementioned noun and mean in the song's lyrics that I "bakam" and he "baka", you should also "bakać"("am" or "a" or "ać" added in individual forms in thse case). These words in Poland (having their symbolic meaning) became so popular thanks to *Kaliber 44* that you can hear these terms very often among Polish weed enthusiasts - even on the streets. Anyway it is a great song and polish old school HH ! Have a many fantastic Holy Moly Reaction Bro....xD
@@eddymasreacts Brief explanation from me about *Peja - 997* . These number ( 997 ) it is phone number if you need call for police in Poland . Now you know whats about inside 😁 . I listened 997 at first time when I was 16 yo I remember that was played from casette - serius it was totally illlegal distribution music. During those days we have had any money, about 20% unemployment ( in Poland) too. Only my father had a job, and it was poorly paid. There were basically no prospects for a better one. Those who could, emigrated to the West, most often to Germany, which wasn't that simple because Poland wasn't in the EU at the time. Peja isn't joking when he talks about hell on earth in his songs. People from the old, wealthy West don't understand how high the cost of breaking away from the communist system is when your country's currency undergoes dramatic devaluation and connections from the old criminal-business system still function, hitting ordinary people. New healthy businesses are only just emerging, learning through trials and errors on society, about how to attract Western capital on the one hand and how to compete with the mature and often brutal business of the Western world on the other. This is a story about Poland at that time, which Peja perfectly expressed in his verses because he knew it from his own experience, in the country in which he was born and had to live, and not from stories told by American rappers, although they were certainly an inspiration for him. Eddy Bro....this is not an accusation against you as someone who was born in the West, but merely a description of the background of the reality in which a significant part of the songs, not only of Slums Attack but of the entire Polish old school, were created.
"Selling" people to the police in Poland is doubly stigmatized due to the fact that before 1989, even in the last decade of the collapsing socialism, the police ( that's what it was called back Milicja in polish now we have Policja in polish ) persecuted citizens who were disobedient to the system; there were even fatalities. The state apparatus was stupid on the one hand, but brutal and arrogant towards facts on the other. It turned out that after the fall of the socialist system, even its officials in the last two decades knew that it wouldn't stand the test of time and would collapse, despite this, they preyed on society. *F**K THE POLICE !* 🏴☠
