- At the age of 32, Jamie Hull experienced a life-altering event when his pursuit of a pilot career took a tragic turn. During a training flight in the US, his plane's engine caught fire, forcing him to make a daring jump from the wing at 1000ft as his cockpit was engulfed in flames. After more than 60 operations to recover from severe injuries, Jamie showed remarkable determination to rebuild his life. He takes on several challenges like the London Marathon, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, and the challenging Race Across America, all in support of Help for Heroes. Through sharing his story, Jamie inspires his audience as public speaker, showcasing his incredible strength and resilience.

Waarom moet alles plots in het Engels?

Heel de tijd Engelse afleveringen, komt geen eind aan.
En dan ook nog zonder ondertiteling, erg jammer.
Ik denk heel slim van haar. Zowat de hele wereld beheerst de engelse taal. En een heeeel klein deel van de wereld beheerst de nederlandse taal maar. Dus op deze manier kan ze wellicht veel groter groeien met haar kanaal dan dat ze alles alleen in het nederlands doet. Het is gewoon een veel beter verdienmodel. Ik kan me wel voorstellen dat mensen die die taal niet of minder machtig zijn maar wel graag haar uitzendingen luisterden het heel jammer vinden. Want die kunnen nu hun fijne podcast niet meer luisteren. Maar ja, ongeveer 7 euro per 1000 views dus als het internationaal aan slaat dan geeft dat een enorme boost aan inkomsten. Maar dan moet het wel aan gaan slaan want vooralsnog zijn de engelse versies veel minder goed bekeken in vergelijk met de nederlandse.

Ik kan toch echt Nederlandse ondertiteling krijgen. Klopt niet helemaal maar this iig iets.
Maar goed ik kijk zoveel Engels dat ik prima Engels kan.
Wat erg voor je, moet je een tissue?. stel je voor, je maakt de dingen mee in deze podcast... dan maakt het toch een stuk minder uit dat het Engels is toch?beetje perspectief zien ofzo..
Je kan bij het “wieltje” van instellingen klikken op ondertiteling en dan automatisch vertalen selecteren en dan staat er Nederlands bij. En 99% van de vertaling klopt. In ieder geval genoeg vertaling dat je het snapt 😉
