    Incredible explanation, I watched a 40-minute video that went all around to explain what you said clearly in less than 3. Incredible communication skills.

      so true haha i watched another guy, really good video, but after watching i was confused as to how i could implement ecological learning in my own practice

    Could you give an example of how this could work for boxing?

      It’s a matter of deciding what you want to see an athlete do, then finding an environment that entices them into those actions. So maybe you have a boxer that does not throw a left jab. Have him spar, keeping score, and landed punches are worth a point a piece, but a left jab landed is worth five points. You’ve now created an environment where they will want to use that affordance they wouldn’t otherwise.

      And say you have an athlete dropping the hand off the jab. Maybe do a round where you constrain party A to only be allowed to throw jab cross with a task focus on bringing those hands straight back
      Then, party B is only allowed to throw counter punches off the 1, 2.
      Then you switch em up every minut or so and do 10 minutes or so of this game.
      Obviously, thats a lot of reps under live conditons where both athletes get to practice these pretty pivotal defensive skills of brining hands back and counter punching.
