@@127twilsonit was an unbelievable amount of work to just be able to play it- when 90% of said work could be eliminated by private servers. At the time, them were not implemented. I’m unsure if they currently are.

I dont think the first guy scuttled, pretty sure he dove to a quest (changed servers). He most likely had the quest down but could not dive until he was far enough away from your ship.

People are putting throwing daggers all over the anchor so you can't drop it until you pick them all up, it's so stupid

Just stand on the canopy just above the capstan and you’ll only get the prompt to lower it! Knife prompt you have to be closer

@@Shaky80 Gotcha, I wonder if the old mushroom anchor trick works for this one.. just go right up to the capstan, basically sniffing it towards the center, that prompt should pop up more than the knives (if it’s the same) I haven’t encountered this on bigger ships yet haha

I've been rocking the knife cutlass.loadout since the update dropped. There's just something so satisfying with landing hits with the knife that I can't put it down

The pistol is really good, if ya tripple tap it it fires two shots at like lightning speed
It can't really actually one tap but it does do a ton of damage!

Throwing knife is suppose to do the same damage as an eye of reach. A jab is 5 sticks.
Hit reg is off on the new pistol. So long story short. Blunder and eye is still better.

Recently uploaded videos to UA-cam take a little bit to have all resolutions available.
They now have safer waters, so you can get those Story missions done without being harassed by summit now.
I could be wrong, but maybe the knife one-taps if you charge-melee the enemy in the back? Like the TF2 Spy?

stabs do 80 damage, throwing knives do 60 when thrown, meaning their faster and do more damage per second then any gun.

Knife doesn't 1 tap. A jab does 12 damage. A heavy stab does 70. And the throw does 60
I love watching summit but watching him bully a vanilla (newish) player off the games a little messed up lol
The game is about pvp primarily, you should expect pvp when playing

Not a little, it’s a lot messed up lol you can choose to be an asshole or a hero in any game, just because it’s pvp based doesn’t mean you need to be toxic, but most of the SOT streamers are like this for the clicks, which just makes their viewers want to be toxic too, and in turn making the game as a whole worse.

literally the first 2 min of this vid is my problem with pvp in sot. Players are so inclined to board via cannoning themselves into the ocean to get on enemy ship. And we all know what comes next, bum rush the enemy player and 1 tap them with blunder(ideally). Happens every time and it's quite boring

This is what's wrong with streamers bro. Summit was tucked but for some reason jumped and revealed himself, then tucks in a super obvious spot. Gets killed and claims the guy is stream sniping. What a joke.

As someone who's played this game a lot that spot is not obvious and is not the first place someone looks when checking for tuckers most of the time.
@@Blacky_ljb1 ok someone who plays this game alot. How many hours do you have. Because the sloop has about 7 good tuck spots which takes only 20 seconds to check ALL of them.

@Kayden123-ci4tr the game has a large amount of bugs currently that make the game near unplayable sometimes, it is both a very bad and a very good game depending on how many you get in a session
