I love this song and album.
Wonderful to see! Still one of my favorite songs. Didn't make it to the first ProgScape since we didn't move back to Philly until the following year. Hope things are going well for you in Brazil. Sending all the best from Valencia, Spain!
Thanks very much! Maybe we can play this stuff live again sometime... anything is possible in the time that's left! 28 years is a long time, but life is good and I'm still kicking! If there was interest, I'm sure we could pull it together.
Brilliant !! It's really nice to have this concert... Even though the image quality isn't top notch, the sound isn't too bad... You were using tapes for the orchestral / keyboard/guitar synths parts, there, I suppose ? Well, it seems there's no keyboard parts on the first track... Wonderful to be able to sing while playing all these complex parts.
Thanks! No, there is NO prerecorded material or backing tracks. Everything you hear is 100% live being played by hands (and feet)... midi-guitar synthesizers and midi-pedal synthesizers. Keeping it all together, remembering the music and lyrics, patch changes, etc AND singing was quite challenging. Especially here, the first time we performed TS in public. The album had only been released in Japan at this point, so the audience had never heard the material before. I think we did a pretty fair job of it. -BB
Oh, that's impressive definitely. TS was a very strong album. :o)) I'll watch the other videos soon Bill ! Thank you !
