What I don’t understand is how he went from the most wanted and gets caught and gets released he told on someone forsure ain’t no doubt about that but you know Vatos break down at the gates of hell
15 years passed and if sitting in the LA County Jail for a year and a half is nothing, you obviously don’t know the game
That fool cristian with the comment is an idiot Gil .
Make a movie conejo la netaaa

Conejo telling a real story of a fugitive from a humane point of view… deserves a Netflix series!
This is the REAL chicano rap legend, no disrespect to Toker or Bozo or noone else but this foo was on a whole other level
Yes Sir... 🫡🙌🏽💯
I agree but toker up there to Reputable

Dopest interview ever!
The dopest legendary CD 💿 would have the following rappers on as a super group:
1) Conejo
2) Frank V.
3) Bozo
4) Baldacci
5) Misfit Soto
*of course every song would have to have the dopest beat. That Album would be legendary and would still be listened to 100 years from now because it would sick! It would make the Mount Westmore group look like a tiny hill 😂! Come on Conejo do it!
I feel like American cholo talks to much like he doesn't let him finish like he wants to make about him not let him tell his story just my opinion
I’ve never heard of this guy and I don’t even know how I ended up here, but I could not stop watching his interview. Conejo’s life story is incredible! I hope one day he writes an autobiography or someone makes a movie out of his life story. He really knows how to captivate an audience. He is the true definition of “throw me to the wolves and I’ll come back leading” Much respect ✊🏼 ❤
Nice quote 💯

The host is an excellent interviewer. He let Conejo talk and tell his stories but also made sure to keep the flow of the podcast so we understood Conejo’s story chronologically. So refreshing!
💯💯💯
Honestly. Great interviewer. Love this brother.
So rare. Most interviewers these days spend most interviews making it about themselves
Just two homies chillen 🇲🇽
I grew up in West Adams in the 90’s and I remember Conejo’s street tapes when they got passed around the hood… “Enemigas Get Shot Up” was my favorite song… he’s truly one of the pioneers of Los Angeles Chicano Rap ! 🤘🏽
Has west adams changed a lot since then?

I started listening to Conejo in 2009 when i just happened to stumble on one of his songs on UA-cam. After i learned about who he was and his story, i was riding with him all the way to now. I was tripping when he got snatched up in 2016. I thought he was done for good. When he got out i was so happy for him. Just like X Raided, he has made something of his life since getting out. Dope ass music and movies! Can't stop, won't stop!!!!
You can tell conejo really lives that outlaw Mexican experience by his Mexican slang , I speak the same way only after a year living in TJ . Dope interview👍

Man I usually don't watch interviews but this shit had me locked in when I should've went to sleep lol shout out to Conejo and American cholo. Pt 2 maybe?
Conejo was on the run for 15 years all they wanted to do was question him 😂😂😂
He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer
😂😂😂
He was sitting in L.A County for 15 months for questioning...shows how much you know!🤣
A Conejo movie would be dope, I consider him The King of Chicano Rap for sure 🎤
Quality interview. Much props to Conejo & American Cholo.
I was raised in LA (Leeward and Westmoreland) back in the late '80s. Knucklehead 13-year-old Salvadorean kid running around without a care. Thank God my parents made the decision to move out in 1990. Most people on my street ended up dead, in jail, or got deported.
You lived right by my church.
This is a great interview. Conejo is a LA legend in my book. Keep coming with these types of interviews. I grew up listening to Conejo and watching him come home after so many years. Keep killing it Harpero!
My mind just erupted listening to this interview foo is a straight street scholar 👍🏼💯🇲🇽🔥
Conejo is a real one. He was putting it down since the 90s. The real OG
Amazing interview, wish it was even longer lol.
Thankful to see one of my idols be alive to share his story and continue to progress.
Imagine been from up north n this vato got talent so we had to hear him in the dark I know I’m not the only one 😂😂
The thing is ss down hear don’t even diss Norte cause y’all don’t even come to mind it would be harder bumping a ss down south cause they acually diss your hood “ another sur hood “
And all ur Norte do is sur this and sur thay
Woodie is on the same level tbh. At least technically and music wise.
That was the best interview you’ve had,I’ve been watching ,your game is getting better sir
Great interview, thanks to everyone that helped make this happen. 💯
Big up to this cat i remember he would go to hip hop convention to promote his music with his team. He has became bigger then the music like Jayz. He keeps making moves.
Bad ass interview… much respect to the homie Conejo… his stories brought me back to when I was active in the hood running from cops and bullets
Homie hands fucken down, the SICKEST interview out there.. Homie G-Rabbs had me on the edge of my seat the whole time..RESPECTS!

imagine if they made a movie 🎥 about how he grew up from 80's to 00's the different phases of the culture.
So many people would be able to relate and it could bridge a lot of gaps between the generations. We could observed how the changes slowly happened over the years.
From the creased up size 50 Ben Davis pants with baby cuffs to the skinny jeans . From coming home as a kid because the street lights turned on, to over protected children of child abuse today.

One of my favorite interview conejo is solid af Gil getting down and promoting positive like always nice way to start my morning 💯

WEST SIDE LEGEND! MUCH LOVE TO THESE 2 OG’S SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE AND GAME FOR ME. RESPECT ✊🏼
That’s right homies saludos from the Bay. Grew up listening to Conejo. 90’s and 00’s.
Homeboys word play is crazy even in his songs from the 90s it was dark and gangbang music but the punchlines he has was ahead of his time till this day
that's how most of us from that Era still talk, then came the vatos that talk like the Afro-Americanos. SC 1990/2000
Bad ass interview! I don't know conejos music but I was always aware of his story. I wish he would of talked about Toker allegedly helping him in rosarito and his thoughts on what happened to toker because it sounds like he was around the same scene. Maybe a part 2 interview?
I think Conejo low key didn’t care much for Toker.
@@facts4358 I had read a story sometime back that toker had reached out to conejos while he was in TJ, but fell out somehow. If you see tokers video when he first got out he's shouting out conejo and mentioned there was a project coming out soon. Would be interesting to hear about tokers comments..
Great interview brother , amazing story that conejo lived. Big shout out to you from Zapopan Jalisco Mexico
Conejo speaks like my homies with all that Spanglish 💯
Listening to Conejo brought back memories of My growing up since i grew up in the same área and same era

BRO ONE OF THE REAL ONES WITH A REAL INTERVIEW. ATLEAST THIS VATO DIDN'T LAG LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. GUD JOB AMERICAN CHOLO 👏 👍🏽
Conejos best song when you bump LOUD AF "doorway to hell"
When interviewing, one must match the energy of the guest, specially an OG like CON, pay attention, listen closely, DO NOT CUT HIM OFF, think real good before speaking & avoid asking dumb questions. Saludos raza!
Yeah you can tell conejo didn't appreciate how he kept cutting him off while he was talking. He kept his cool though
Enjoyed this segment with Conejo. Takes me back to the old days. I would love to hear some stories about the Hollywood Varrios sometime. Like The Magicians, White Fence and the other Varrios that put them selves on the map during those times. Keep up the great work.. 👊🏽👍🏾✊🏽👍🏽
Dope interview Gil, you gotta do more pre recorded interviews. Personal opinion they’re better than a live interview.
I think he'll definitely do it again, this video is doing good numbers
I’m going to be honest Gil, initially I wasn’t sure about you because of that whole thing with no jumper but after finding out they manipulated the video and seeing the way you handled things reassured me you are a solid individual with a level mind. Respects to you and my apologies for misreading you.
Back when I was starting my 14 year term my first celly on the 180 Satf was Dirty from HPS he had a bunch of his Homie cd but I didn’t mind him bumping him cuz homie shit was tight if not I would have said put some headphones on lol😂 I hope the homie dirty got out he was a lifer

Lots of lessons and game to be learned
Homeboys a decent actor as well. He held his own in that movie Tax Collector. What’s good with Creeper fool!?
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. I've been listening to Conejo off and on since 2005.
This interview man was by far on my list with the other top10 amazing . Was for sure a roller coaster
"The subject matter is always gangster" Shit nobody can top Conejo, got to meet him in liquid joes in salt lake city, from 818 S.F.V
Legendary G.O.A.T, his connection with his fans is second to none. American Cholo is next level and I really appreciate the interviews.

Excellent dialect! Stories match the era's. No breaking up the interviews. Solid work!
This interview and the one with Immortal Technique are top notch.
This might just be my favorite rapper interview ever
Conejo got a fresh outfit 🔥🔥🔥
West Side Boys OG’s played football we became West Side Burlington Boys later Lokos 13,good ole days of the young gee’s all getting along running all blocks together
The interview we all needed but didn’t know
We need part 2 this foo story's r so fucken interesting asf
I literally grew up in the same time zone/area. We were born the same year. Every moment and location through his life journey. I can relate 100%
I was born in TJ in 1975, but I was raised in the Vermont/Adams from 1980-1995
He brought soooooo many memories. Him telling his story was almost like he was telling my story. Lol 😆
Firme interview… conejo needs to share all them stories and write a book

I loved Conejos music since 99
Love from Ireland 🇮🇪
50:02 bookmark to watch later, gotta go to work homies, let me know what you think about the interview.
Hey brother 🫂🤗🙂🥺
Cool interview! I'm still old enough to remember The Village on 32th and Hoover or Vermont it was a cool spot to chill and go see a movie for really cheap like $5 for an entrance ticket and a next door you had a Korean lady who owned a deli... I think now USC bought the whole area it's a wannabe Brentwood area...
up until 2012 or 2013 that area was cracking..
@@MRONE-jt7oj Yup.. now you have USC security in every block. I remember the USC students were left alone and then they started getting targeted is when everything changed but you can go to that 24 hour Dennys and go chill that place was lit too..
I miss the old village, radio shack, movie theater, the comic store, 32nd street market, the laundromat. Those were my stomping ground on Fridays.
Such a good interview
Shout out AC!!!!
And shout out Conejo for Just still bein alive!!!!
Story of legends for sure
They had a half pipe near Santa Monica Blvd & Normandy Blvd or Western Blvd right next to the 101 freeway .the only problem it was in M.S.13 Neighborhood. LoL
Dope as interview! Conejo got testimony hats off to both of you homies 🙏🙌🏼
This dude needs a Netflix series about his life 💯
My family’s from Jalisco, I used to skate, I used to Rob, the cholo scene, the tagging scene, feels good having shit in common with this foo. Definitely top 3 greatest Mexican American rapper in my eyes!!!!!
Shout out to conejo very humble respeful dude. Met him and his brother in law when I worked at Oreilly in the 805
Respectful*
The part where talks about audioslave is the most important, and deepest part of this of this whole interview. I think what he was saying here went over many heads, but it culminates every word he has said and it culminates the mistake he made that forced him to be a fugitive!
But most of all, it highlights the fact that he's just a normal human being, searching for an escape, like we all are.
It's an admittance, in it's deepest level.
The song is called Like A Stone by Audioslave. Listen to the lyrics 🖤
What an amazing journey. I had flashbacks listening to all the different neighborhoods in LA in the late 80s. The tax collector was an excellent movie. Proud of you and continue to succeed.
Nothing but quality gil...enjoyed this interview thanks for the quality content you put always put out 🔥
With the advancement in technology and social media, it would be nearly impossible to last 15 years nowadays.
This fucking interview was like a movie…. conejo is a good story teller 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn what a transformation. Conejo used to be super gangster. Nows he's all about family 💪
What a trip huh.. I remember being the biggest Conejo fan in my hood around 2008 and I never expected him to be like this. But hey good for him he survived
I met alot of homies like this brother when I worked the Mexico areas you see I was a fugitive recovery Agent back in the 2005 Through 2011s I have a way of blending with the homies crazy days for me.
