Rn i have no featured 5 stars (I have encore, verina from both of the beginner selector stuff and c1 calcharo (C0 from the 50 pull banner and one from 50/50 loss at 75 pity). Would you suggest me to pull for Carlotta or Jinshi? I cant really decide tbh (also i can most likely only get one)

Idk how much pulls you have left, however with Carlottas banner already being out and Jinhsi's rerun banner yet to come, it probably would be more safe to get Jinhsi because you have more time farming resources. On the other hand, you have Verina already, who has a good synergy with Jinhsi, more than she does with Carlotta. Damage wise, Carlotta CAN out damage Jinhsi, but you need the characters too (Zhezhi). However, I think Jinhsi is way more broken than Carlotta, not just in terms of dealing damage, but also because she is very easy to play and her kit is absolutely broken, and will scale with characters instead of raw stat numbers. That means depending on newer characters, Jinhsi could potentially get even more overpowered. Jinhsi does not rely on her concertio bar, because you can trigger her outro skill after her nuke at anytime. That gives a lot of room for fast rotations. And there is a lot more to her kit making her overpowered which I will go in deeper in my upcoming video about her. Carlotta is a great character on the other hand. She is easy to play and does a ton of damage. I think both characters will help you progress a lot. But considering your current situation, I probably would say skip Carlotta and go for Jinhsi. IF you CAN afford both, try. I hope this helped you and thank you for watching!
Pulling for her s2 rn, i got very lucky, i got her and her weapon and then lost in zhezhi banner, but then got zhezhi on pity 30 and carlotta s1 on pity 1 while going for sanhua s6(i just need 1), now i'm still pulling but mainly for carlotta s2(20 pity and still no sanhua btw)

She is my first limited dps in wuwa, with sig. I started on psn release and grinded for her and she is fun to use. ( lost my 50/50 on Encore but did 20 more pulls and got Carlotta + 37 pulls for sig ❤ )
With Carlotta as your first main DPS, you are doing nothing wrong. She will carry you for quite a while for sure. The 50/50 lose is kinda unlucky, but still a pretty amazing outcome even with her signature weapon! Btw, really cool to see PS players - I meanly play on PC and sometimes on mobile when I can't get on PC.
Okay so first of all, the reason why you would quick swap characters in the first place, is to a) not wait for cool downs on attacks like resonance skills or even echoes, and b) to skip animations so you can cast/start another attack at the same time which gives you more damage in fewer time. This is only really important if you do not have enough damage to clear out an opponent within the given time window, which might be the case for Tower of Adversity. So basically, you could quick swap with any characters. However, it might give bigger benefits with certain characters, then it does with others. Since Sanhua has a very short on field time, and Verina does also have a very quick Rotation, I don't think there is much to do. However, you can skip Verinas heavy attack, which you need to cast for healing/using her stacks and to increase her Concertio bar, by using a) her ultimate skill or b) just by using outro skill. For both Sanhua and Carlotta I just quick swap her echos, since they are not a summon but a Transformation instead, they use a lot of time. Not sure if there is more you can do, since my Carlotta isn't fully built yet, and I mainly just play her for fun in Rinasita, I honestly do not know if there is more to optimize, at least not for Carlotta Sanhua Verina. I think quick swapping does a lot more when using Shorekeeper, cause she has a very slow Rotation, or Pairing her with Changli, who also has a very slow rotation. Or even with Yinlin, basically all characters who have slow rotations, it is more useful, because you can skip a characters cooldown, by just swapping to the next, until both characters Concertio bars are maxed out, to then trigger outro/intro skills.
At 0:39, you argue Sanhua is a good support for her because she can buff Carlotta on her outro. Unfortunately, Sanhua is a basic attack buffer, and Carlotta is built to do skill damage. Sanhua is not completely useless with her, however, because she has very low on-field time to trigger Carlotta's intro. Mostly this just means the real work is being put in by Carlotta herself because she does so much damage. All her 4-star support options have hefty downsides (Lumi's buff is too short to cover Carlotta's attack chain, and Taoqi takes more field time that lowers overall DPS), so Zhezhi is the clear winner for now.
You are right. Which is why I said "if you are new or free to play" 0:19 If you are at a beginner/free-to-play account you most likely have no Zhezhi, leaving only Sanhua as an option. I should have been more precise about her, but at least I later mention Zhezhi being her best support at least. But in future I'll try to get more precise about these things and not just making a claim.
worth or not she does insane damage.. mine has MID echoes and her burst total damage goes up to to almost 500k damage. with all buffs on.. just keep that in mind if you like her.. If you don't of course damage is not enough reason to pull a character to me.. i just liked her and her playstyle, the damage is a plus.
Yeah, it was kinda the same for me. When they first teased characters from Rinasita, with no animations or anything, I already knew I would pull her for sure. Now seeing her playstyle made me pull her even more. I kinda feel like I need her for ToA, but not really since I have good damage dealers already. It is more like I wanted to have a Glacio DPS just in case.
Man. be more specific with info.. sanhua with carlotta is useless unless S6... her kit gives carlotta ZERO buffs otherwise.. buffing normal attack to a character that does EVERYTHING in skill damage its pointless. Carlotta E , R, and forte all scale on skill damage.
You are right, you would need S6 to have the 10% ATK buff. However, even at S0, Sanhua can buff basic attacks, and if you are on a beginner account, or a free-to-play friendly account, your characters are on a lower Resonator level and probably don't have their skill levels beyond Level 4. So you'll be doing a lot of Basic attacks with Carlotta, or characters overall, in which case, Sanhua is doing more than Nothing. Now, of course, her S6 is probably not very free-to-play friendly anymore, but still achieveable without spending money, but in the Long run Zhezhi should be your priority instead. And if you are a spender or probably have Zhezhi already, then there is no reason to use Sanhua anymore.
@@viciousvndta i think her best friend it Taoqi, supposed you have a claymore that gives concerto energy because she NEED it , i mean taoqi, but her buff for carlotta is insane. 38% skill damage for carlotta scale on skill, forte AND burst.
Outro buffing Carlotta is not the point. The point is to make the rotations as short as possible, while still giving Carlotta a moonlit clouds+heron buff. While Taoqi and Lumi would normally be the default ftp supports due to their res skill outro buff, they are borderline unusable. Lumi only gives a 10 second buff, which isn’t enough time for Carlotta to completely use her ultimate. And Taoqi… is just clunky and has an absolutely useless kit. So no, Sanhua is not useless for Carlotta. Her and Yangyang are some of the best 4* supports for her. Yangyang also provides decent amounts of energy, lowering your ER requirements.
If you are starting at the game, if you can speedrun the game, you probably will have enough asterites to pull her and zhezhi and maybe their weapons too xD Carlotta is a hook character like Dan Heng IL or Jingliu.
If you can afford both characters, it is absolutely worth pulling both! They will not let you down for sure. Now, I do not know these two characters you've mentioned, but she definitely is very charming :D
Quantum pulling - that is probably the smartest idea! But jokes aside, Jinhsi is probably the most broken character, and might never fall off. Even when she gets out damaged by characters, she scales with her party members instead of raw damage numbers. I do remember Rin to look a little different, with black hair to be honest ^^ But, she is a queen indeed! And definitely worth to be S6'ed if you can afford it!
Jinhsi is having her rerun banner in the second half of 2.0, which is in about less than two weeks. You than have at least around 3 weeks (I think) to save and pull for her.
