she started singing when she was 4 years old and started joining singing contest at the age of 6.
everything she can do was came from her experience in joining singing contest. she never trained by a vocal coach.

I was wondering if this is your first reaction to Katrina, or if you have seen at least “go the distance”. Shame on you for taking this long! But, at least you’ve seen the brilliance now. Especially with what is probably her best performance ever. And all the rest are not far behind this level either. She is the best at riffs and runs that I’ve ever heard! Plus, she impersonates different voice is extremely well. Watch her singing “never enough” while in personating like seven different singers. She also sings this song “burn” by Ellie Goulding, while in personating singers! Watch her singing “one sweet day”, with “BUDAKHEL”

Katrina Velarde is one of a handful of singers who I've discovered for myself this year from different parts of the world. In addition to Katrina, that list would include:
Morissette - Philippines
Daneliya Tuleshova - Kazakhstan
Angelina Jordan - Norway
Roberta Battaglia - Canada
Sohyang - South Korea
And I haven't even started to listen to guys like Dimash from Kazakhstan, or Marcellito and TNT Boys from the Philippines.
Another good recent release from Katrina would be her version of After The Love Is Gone.
