I think the way the village works is that, basically the camo buff from the village gives the tower the ability to attack camo, but the projectile needs to also have camo detection to actually hit the camo. Normally, the projectile would just inherit the camo because of the village, but because you're using custom projectiles it doesn't correctly recognize that it should have camo detection. Basically, if the base tower you're using has no camo, it wont target camo bloons but it's projectiles can still damage the camo bloons if you're using a projectile that can see camo. (for example a 0-0-0 dart with a 0-0-2 wizard projectile would be capable of hitting camos, but wouldnt target them) And let's say the opposite is true, you have a tower that can see camo but a projectile that cant, it would target and attack the camos but it wouldn't deal any damage even though it is attacking it. (for example a 0-0-0 ninja with a 0-0-0 tack shooter projectile would be capable of targetting camos but it's attacks would deal no damage since the projectile cant actually hit the camos.)
I have an amazing BTD Battles idea for a game mode. I would call it the "Least Towers Game Mode" In this game mode each player will gain buffs based on the fewer towers they possess. so the weaker you look the better you're gains become and their towers are slightly stronger. The second part is you gain a big buff or debuff every round based on wich player has the lower amount of towers. If the player has more towers than the enemy, then their bloon sends become 1 tier higher(but can't surpass the strongest bloon because of balance, moab class bloons can only be promoted from moab class bloons) and slightly cheaper. This promotes aggressive behavior and lets a player be able to catch up or force the enemy to get more towers to remove their buffs. If the player has less towers, then they gain an increase in economy and their towers are slightly cheaper. If both player's tower count is equal then both player's bloon sends are moderately cheaper. Why does it have to be round based is because it would be easier to program and would prevent players from constantly spamming towers and the game being reliant on who spams the fastest... This sound like a revolutionary BTD battles pvp game mode doesn't it?
It sounds interesting, but I think that the check happening every round would end up making so both player sell all their towers at the end of every round, making the META very stale with boat for the increased sellback, farms to make money and get something from selling, and the only 3rd slot viable would be an early game defender. I think that if the check started on round 10 or 15, and only happened every 5th round, it would make for a more varied experience. But it does sound good in concept, maybe try reaching out to NK in their reddit or something.
@@sr_pallmeto4542 I actually disagree about players selling everything because that would make them more vulnerable and unless you get 100% of the money back then buying back every tower would be more costly then trying to keep them... Also if a player tries to sell something a round prior to switching then their opponent will just send a rush a round prior to prevent them from selling or keep there tower count up, this just becomes a game where both players try to fend of a rush with as little as possible causing a sort of risk in every choice.

I would love to see the spike paragon next. We need a paragon that isn't meant for the main damage. But for the clean up. And that's what's spike does best.
The 5/5/5 spike isn't a cleanup tower, it is a anti everything tower. If the paragon is anywhere near it, it would probably be better than the ace paragon
i feel like a 250 spike factory with 502 spike projectiles would be funny. cover the screen in super mines. not as much attack speed so maybe not as good but a nuke like that every few seconds
You should balance this such that you have to buy both towers (the one you want and the one you want the projectile from) before then being allowed to set that towers projectiles
